Our Pebble Beach home 4 day rental was very special. While not a new home, many new home comforts with updated kitchen and master bathroom. The view is spectacular with the ocean just steps out the front door. We were surprised by the daily fog, so sightseeing was best in the afternoon. Varied dining in the area is limited, but moderate priced restaurants and seafood dining is readily available. The trips to explore the Redwoods was just minutes outside Crystal Beach and easily accessible from this beach rental. We do recommend this rental and will consider again for our northern California vacations.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

We had a wonderful three night stay here at the end of June. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We found the reservation to be handled professionally with our deposit promptly returned. The home is beautiful with a well appointed kitchen, wood floors, a lovely bathroom suite, and an amazingly comfortable king size bed. We stayed here a few days so we could explore the Redwoods - we went to Jedediah Smith State park (just a few miles away) and the Avenue of Giants a couple of hours to the south. We also had time to explore a little of Crescent City. It was nice to just be able to walk across the street to stroll along the beach. The town has wonderful parks where our children played. Next time I'll be sure to bring our discs to partake in the frisbee golf course we saw. We walked out to the lighthouse during low tide, visited the aquarium (Ocean World), and ate cheese at the Rumiano Cheese Company. This is a place we would love to return to - my children said they would trade our home for this one in a heartbeat and I have to agree. You won't be disappointed by a stay here!!

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have vacationed in this area for over 40 years now--first in a tent, then a cab-over camper, then a 24 ft mini-motorhome, to motels and finally to the ideal...renting a vacation home. The area is beautiful and its been fun watching the beginning of the whale migration. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us; it's our "home away from home". We will be back next year.

We came stressed. We are leaving calm, with a renewed look at our world. During our stay, the cost of a barrel of oil hit a high of $40, the stock market went down to 11,300 and we could have cared less. Waking each morning to a cold morning, beautiful ocean views and a bed that we didn't want to get out of was a highlight. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to next year for our attitude adjust and stress therapy.

We rented the house for 2 weeks, sight unseen...what a wonderful surprise!Since we have been here we've swam in the ocean & Smith River, enjoyed the birds, walked in the redwoods and up and down the Hiouchi Trail. Thank you for the lovely kitchen and the huge bathroom...we will be back.
