from the sand.

A perfect getaway for the family or a group of friends,our house has two private bedrooms and is set up to sleep 4-6 very comfortably. Classic beach styling on the outside gives way to modern comforts and conveniences inside such as flat panel TV's and wireless internet access.
Unlike hotels and most comparably priced vacation rentals our property offers the privacy and tranquility of a single unit house.

Complete with two gated and landscaped yards and parking for up to 3 cars, a big plus in Hermosa where parking is limited.

No Shoes... No Shirt...No Problem!

Hermosa is one of Southern California's premier beaches. The sand is pristine, the water among the warmest in California, and it's all less than 50 yards from our house. Uncle Walt's is located in North Hermosa. For your enjoyment 2 body boards, sand chairs, His and her's Strand Curisers (bikes) beach towels , beach umbrella and rolling cooler.   • Words will fail to express the wonderfulness that is Uncle Walt's Beach House! It looks cute in the photos, but is even better in reality. Sunny, sparkling clean, roomy, everything in great working order, from the water pressure in the shower to the ceiling fans to the kitchen setup. The location is excellent -- a very short walk to the beach, to the pier, or to the market. Big grocery store, bank and post office within a short drive, and plenty of room to park up to 3 cars!! We enjoyed BBQ-ing on the back patio and sunset cocktails on the front porch and patio. Rode bicycles on the Strand and slept soundly on superbly comfortable beds. Teresa and her family were amazing to work with -- warm, friendly and understanding. Believe me when I say we hated to leave and are hoping to go back for an even longer stay soon!
