  My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this location. We were so comfortable and felt right at home. I can't think of a single thing we needed that wasn't there - it was a completely different experience than staying in a hotel. The beds by the way were super comfortable and everyone slept extremely well. Look forward to staying here again next time we're in the area!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We stayed for 3 nights, and had a wonderfull time the house was very nice. The location was wonderfull close enough to everything you would need. The owners has the house decorated to make it comfortable and cozy. Evan though the weather was terrible wich you can only blame mother nature for, we enjoyed just staying in and visiting with our family. I would recomend this house to anyone wanting to wtay in Tulsa.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  The cottage was cozy and quiet, yet very convenient to get around from. It was nice to get "home" and be able to relax in such a nice atmosphere. The owners were polite, flexible, and reasonable working with our group. We really appreciated that!

  Everything was perfect. We LOVED the kitchen, the wood burning fireplace, and the absolutely perfect location. The birdfeeders are a very nice touch....we loved waking up to watching the birds and squirrels (which we named the Three Amigos). Brookside is walking distance away, river parks trails, and beautiful neighborhoods to stroll through. We will be back!!!

  House is cute, great location, needs a little TLC, does have somewhat of a old smell to it, needs new coffe pot, and we did run out of hot water with only 2 couples thier. A little over priced, house does have all you would need, dishes, hair products, toiletrys, ect ect. overal a nice stay and nice place.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Owner response: For the benefit of all our visitors we post our phone number in the home. And we do want them to call us directly if there is a problem with the home or if something gets broken. In this case, there happened to be an extra coffee maker on the premises, and we could have told him about it had we known.

  Englebrook Cottage is a charming older home. We loved living among the paintings, antique furnishings and abundant memorabelia - fun to stay there! I go to Tulsa frequently to visit my elderly Mom and see my sister and her family. I appreciate staying in such a well furnished, comfortable and interesting home. We cooked nice meals at the cottage, gathering ingredients from a nearby great little farmer's market and Whole Foods. Thanks, Mark and Debra for your fine hospitality!

  Englebrook Cottage ended up becoming as much a part of our destination as my son's graduation from OSU. Not just a place to rest your head, but a place where we felt at home. Elegant surroundings, comfort everywhere, and plenty of room for us all. These owners really thought of everything. This will become a favorite in our family and we will return. Absolutely love everything about it.

  Seven girlfriends recently stayed at the cottage for a 60th birthday weekend. Loved the house! We had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows and linens. Snooping through the house was loads of fun! Lots of little details everywhere you looked. Location was great for shopping and dining. We are hoping to stay again in the spring or summer. The owner was very nice and easy to work with.

• Cute house, but not really a 3BR

  My husband and I stayed at this house with his family over the holidays last year and were relegated to the "middle bedroom." It doesn't really qualify as a bedroom, but more of a spacious hallway connecting the rest of the house to the master bedroom. There is no privacy - everytime my brother-in-law and his wife needed to access their bedroom, they had to pass through our room. In addition, only a curtain separates this hallway/bedroom from the kitchen in the morning, so things tended to get a little noisy. The house was otherwise very charming and enjoyable to stay in, but don't count on it being a three bedroom.

  Owner response: The house now has 4 different areas to use for sleeping including the quality hide-a-bed in the front room. The room you stayed in is actually the same size as the front bedroom, 12' by 12'. It has it's own closet, dresser, and also a spacious bay window with seat. The master bedroom has it's own bath, so there would be little reason to leave the master at night. The front bedroom has access to the front bathroom without bothering the middle bedroom. So the bedroom arrangement has been a non-issue with most of the guests of Englebrook. And the middle bedroom has been popular with the kids because of the bay window.

  This cottage is very tastefully decorated with antiques and beautiful art. The owners are very kind and pleasant to work with. You need to stay here and see how many paintings you can find in the house done by the owner. She is an amazing artist.
