Seawatch is a secluded oceanfront estate on the island of Cat Cay, a by invitation only private yacht club in the Bahamas.It’s just 30 minutes by airplane, 40 min by helicopter just 50 miles off the shores of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.Charm, comfort and sophistication merge in this idyllic island home.The interior design rivals the best of any designer magazine and suits the seaside environment with a play of white on white throughout every room.The home nears perfection with an attention to detail that is impeccable.It’s casual luxury the way it is seldom seen.
Generous proportions abound with ample space for extended family and friends. This expansive home accommodates a large family and then some with a total of 7 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, 2 half bath, 2 kitchens, Laundry room, living room, dining room, family room, pool-spa, private beach, wireless Internet, satellite and a four golf car garage.
The main floor has a living room/dining room (great room effect) and a guest half bath for total relaxation in an ambiance of warm inviting spaces with a stone fireplace. On top of the fireplace there is a 60 inch Plasma TV, Blu-Ray DVD player, and Elan sound system that control not only the music but the lighting system outside the house. A truly state of the art granite kitchen complete with a cooking island with a Wolf cook top and top brand appliances; Sub Zero wine cooler with double drawers for vegetable storage, Sub Zero refrigerator, Sub Zero freezer, Wolf Double Oven and Bosch dishwasher add an ever- changing ocean view for the ultimate inspiration for a chef. A guest bedroom with a queen size bed, flat Screen TV, DVD, en-suite full bathrooms and safe in closet it has access to the a wood deck
The ground level has a great family room with a 50 inch Plasma TV, Blu-Ray DVD player a second kitchen that opens to the pool area for informal cooking and dining. A laundry Room with two washers and two dryers and Manitowoc commercial ice maker that makes over 400 lb a day. Three guest bedrooms, each with a king size bed, flat Screen TV, DVD, en-suite full bathrooms, safe in closet and they access to the pool. There is also a great cabana bath, pool and spa, outside shower and a separate service quarters.
The Third level has two master suites each with a king size bed, flat Screen TV, DVD, en-suite full master bathrooms, walk in closets.
The walnut floors throughout the house compliment the knotty alder doors, pine walls, and spectacular wood beam ceilings.
The views and sea breezes from the six thousand ipe wood deck that surrounds the home are absolutely spectacular with so many special spots to enjoy and a panorama of nature’s beauty from every room in the house.
