We had eight adults and two small children and the house was a great fit. We were all able to have a bedroom and there was even a fold-up crib in the house for one of the babies. The kitchen was outfitted very well for the meals we cooked and the bathrooms had great showers and nice towels. We enjoyed the big deck off of the second floor bedrooms and the fenced back yard where the little boys could play. You can't beat the location if walking to downtown and the beach is something you'd like to do, The neighborhood was pretty and very quiet. The house is charming and excellent for a group as there are comfortable rooms where you can spread out and relax as well as cook and dine. All in all, a delightful home which we would rent again when coming to Coeur d'Alene.

We had three families stay at this property over Labor Day weekend and everyone raved about the amount of space, overall layout, enormous deck, and the fact that everything we needed was provided for us. We even forgot beach chairs and float devices for the kids, but the owners had some available for our use. The location was convenient (within walking distance to the lake, park, and restaurants), the beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean. The basement smelled a bit musty despite the remodeling, but no one slept downstairs so it wasn't a big deal. The owner had prompt replies and was very professional. I would definitely recommend this property!

What a great house! This place is well maintained and has lots of space! Even with an issue we encountered upon our arrival, they were responsive and had it fixed in a minimal amount of time, despite living out of town. Pictures are accurate and don't do it justice! The house was spacious and we never felt crowded inside or outside. The deck is just amazing for entertaining! We had a pre-wedding prefunct and despite having approx 20 people over on the deck, there was still room for more and was very comfortable. Love how two of the bedrooms open up to the deck! Despite being 100+ years old, the remodeling is very up to date and beautiful. The location is great too being just blocks from downtown. This was really nice given it was Art on the Green and Taste of CDA Weekend! While there is a garage, we mostly used off street parking and had no issues with neighbors or places, even during our party. I can't say enough good things about this property! It was exactly what we needed for our wedding week and didn't disappoint! Everyone was amazed by where we were staying (both in location and quality of house). There were a couple of bewares but not negs in my book. The staircase leading upstairs is narrow and a bit steep so be aware as 3 of the bedrooms are up there. Also, the water pressure in the downstairs shower is a bit lacking but what can be expected of this beautiful 100+ year old house! About the owners. Great communication, quick responses and deal with issues quickly if they arise. You can tell that the are about facilitating a great stay! Deposit was also returned quickly. You can't go wrong in renting this property! We will gladly use them again should the need arise! Thanks Diane and Monte for helping make are wedding a great success!

Our familly, from southern Idaho and Phoenix, had an awesome time this July in this lovely, well appointed home! Easy walk to downtown for shopping, dining, beach and boating. Very quiet neighborhood. If you're bikers, check out the Hiawatha Bike Trail . Everyone had a super day biking trails in beautiful countryon the Montana/Idaho border! It's only an hour away. Our family highly recommends a stay here. And, we're looking forward to the time we will return.

Anyone looking for a great place to stay in coeur d Alene needs to stay here. I am from Hayden but currently live in Portland. Wanted to bring 9 of my best friends to show them this beautiful town. The house was perfect. The owners were so generous. House had enough room and more! They let us use everything. Beds were so comfy. The house was so cute re: pictures, decorations. They even had a book that gave us ideas of what to do around town. It really is only a walk away from lake. And if you like to run go to tubs hill. We even went to silverwood theme park and it's around 15-20 minutes away. You can probably tell I'm still excited. This house made my weekend perect. I will cherish it forever. Thank you for making your home so welcoming!! Ps it is so affordable too! Next year my friends want to go back to same house:) if you decide to choose this house you will have a wonderful experience! My family and I spend a weekend at this beautiful home. The accommodations are exceptional. The location is perfect--we were able to walk to all our activities. The owners have put a lot of love into furnishing their home and we appreciated all of it. I hope to return someday and I know already who I will contact when I do. They give prompt attention to all your concerns.

Enjoyed the beautiful accomodations. Everyone had plenty of room to sleep, eat and relax. The kids enjoyed themselves with all the wonderful toys the owners left for us to play with. A wonderful experience shared by all.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in July. With four adults and six kids (ages 2 to 14) we found plenty of space, beautiful surroundings on the grounds, every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable and easy (from entertainment to sleeping arrangements to kitchen needs, etc.). We loved the location (it was close enough to downtown and the lake to make for a nice walk) and felt the laid back pace of CDA by being in a neighborhood. Beautiful renovation and interior decorating in this lovely home! Can't wait to return!!!

We rented the house for Ironman 2010 and were pleasantly surprised to find the house exceeded our expectations. The remodeling was well thought out and well executed. The house is not the typical rental with "industrial" grade carpet and furniture but very livable ... great kitchen, dining room, a great deck, comfortable furnishings. Very convenient to downtown and walking distance to all of the places that you would want to go. We simply parked our car in the garage and walked most everywhere (except, of course, the day after the race ... we drove, thankyouverymuch). If renting for Ironman then it is perfect. Close enough to the bike and run course for your spectating family to walk back to the house in between times to see you pass 4x each on the bike and the run. If staying for the Fourth of July or any other time then it is close enough to walk to the restaurants, shops and water front. Lastly the owners are fantastic, warm people.

By far this is one of the top 3 if not the top experiences I have had over the past 20 years of renting homes for golf vacations. This home isn't on the ocean, or on a mountain, or even in a golfer's dream like Edinburgh...but it is just that, a great home. The first thing you will notice is how quickly the owner's get back to you on questions. When you arrive there is someone to take you through the home. And when you cook your first meal it really hits you...this home has everything. I spent an extended weekend in CDA with 3 very picky golf buds and we were very pleased with the location to the courses and to downtown and the restaurants (to be fair the walk downtown is probably 5 blocks and so probably 7 to get to the lake but it is worth it to be able to leave the noise downtown). The pictures on the website will show you the layout of the home (which is very upscale), but it is the feel of the home and again the details that make it feel like you are visiting friends. Thank you Condon family for your hospitality.

"Our Idaho house" , as our children call it, was perfect for our famly's headquarters for Ironman week. It was lovely, spacious, and easy walking distance to downtown and the lake. Even better,it was so comfortable we felt we were guests in a good friend's home rather than renters. We especially enjoyed the deck and the beautiful gardens. We were all sad to leave, but will hope to return again.

You have a spectacular home! The accomodations far surpassed what we were expecting and the decor of the home looks professional done. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of toys and games as well as the beautifully fenced backyard. The location was perfect, walking distance to Sherman Ave, the lake, and all the great shops and restaurants in midtown. We will definitely be back!
