Beach Breeze was all it was advertised to be. We had a wonderful time and the home slept 10 of us comfortably. We had two teenagers and two kids under 7. The location was great for all. I would suggest bringing any beach toys and chairs you may need. It's very nice being able to leave your stuff at the beach with confidence. The local places to eat were good. The trip to town is worth it. The Tequila Bay Mexican is pretty great. Tacky Jacks 2 is not as listed on the internet. But the food is still good. Beach Bike rentals was a big hit with delivery and pick up. Early reservations are encouraged. Overall a great place to come. We will return next year.
Owner response:Thanks for the great review & thanks for the info on Beach Bike Rentals. Janice

My family and I took a weeks vacation July 17th thru the 24th and stayed at this house. It was easily everything it was advertised to be. Plenty of room, great location, close to the beach, well stocked, etc. The walk to the beach was about as short as you could have unless you lived right on the beach. Step out on the front deck, look left and look at the Gulf of Mexico, look right and look at Mobile Bay.It was the perfect place for our family get together.Already making plans to stay there again next year! P.S. It was also a great place for my wife and I to spend our 1st anniversary wich was on the 17th. To put it very simply it was the best vacation I have ever taken!!!
Owner response:Bill, thank you for the great review! Beach Breeze & Fort Morgan is a great place for family & friends to enjoy the beach & summer fun. Janice

WOW...is all I can say about this home. We wanted to take a family vacation away from the hustle and bustle of ordinary beach trips and we certainly got it here. We stayed for 2 weeks and only wish it could have been longer. The owners are great to work with and made our stay very enjoyable. The beach's here and the neighbors are wonderful. Looking forward to next year's trip. The Long's

Beach Breeze is a wonderful location for a family vacation. We were immediately impressed with the spaciousness and layout of this home. It felt brand new on the inside! 2 bedrooms had their own full bathrooms and a 3rd bathroom in hallway. The large deck extended further out than than most other homes down the road. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful with our basic inquiries about the area. Access to beach was a 5 minute walk at most and the beach itself was extraordinary. Felt like brand new sand! They had supplies in the storage room that we used down at the beach (kites, chairs, frisbees, etc). We had 9 people and had plenty of room for all of us when we ate. Very quiet spot but can easily drive in to Gulf Shores if you want to check out the activites there. Washer and dryer were extremely handy. Highly recommended and we will certainly revisit in the future!
Owner response:As always thanks for the great review! Janice

This house is absolutely beautiful. It is clean, the cleanest place I have ever rented. Plenty of room. Comes with dishes, pots, and towels...ect....You just need to bring your food. Neighbors are fantastic. They look out for you and tell you the good spots to visit. Tacky Jacks restaurant/bar has wonderful staff. Makes you feel like your at home. Your privacy is plentiful too. Road leads to a perfect white sand beach spot. I would choose to live there if I could. You must rent this house, the porch is also spacious and you can see the ocean on both sides of the peninsula from the porch.

We wanted to find a nice place to take the children for Spring Break and this house was perfect. It is very spacious and had all the amenties of home. Even down to the small house hold items that you don't think about until you need them. One of the greatest assets was the washer/dryer. After spending time at the beach and getting sand everywhere, we could wash our clothes and not have to carry them back dirty. Everything was top quality. My husband and sons took a charter to go fishing and so that evening when they returned we had the opportunity to eat fresh salt water fish, plus the house had all the cookware we needed. This house is close to the local Go-Cart track which stayed open until 11p and close to a lot of great sea food restaurants. Doc's is where we ate. I had crab legs, fried fish, shrimp, fries and hush puppies all for $16.00. This house is within walking distance to the beach and had all the items you need in order to have a great time in the storage area. It was also great sitting on front porch enjoying the fresh air. The house even had internet connection in order to surf the web. There is a Dollar General, Brunos grocery store and Walmart Supercenter just before you turn on Hwy 180 which was also wonderful. The owners are great to work with and great communicators. I would highly recomment this house and we are already planning a trip to go back.
Owner response:Thanks for the great review.

This house is large and roomy. Just a short walk down the road and you are at the beach. What is great about this location in that you can set up all of your things at the beach and leave it there the entire time you are here. Nobody comes along and messes with it so you are not taking it down every day. The local neighbors are great on this street and help make your stay even better.
Owner response:Thanks Mike! I'm glad you & your family enjoyed your visit to Fort Morgan & your stay at Beach Breeze. It is a great neighborhood where everyone is friendly. Janice

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to go! Immaculately clean & sunny, the Beach Breeze is located about 2 ½ miles near the end of the Fort Morgan peninsula. I could enumerate the great things about the house, but that would be redundant, as you can read the list of amenities yourself. So, instead I will tell you about my favorite moment of my way-too-brief, two-day stay.On the morning of my brother’s wedding, my boyfriend and I woke up early before my (other) brother and my sister-in-law woke up. From the front porch we could see the Gulf of Mexico on our left and Bon Secour Bay on our right. The air was so clean and sweet. It was such a gloriously beautiful day, I wanted to explode! We decided to go for a walk on the beach, which is located a brief walk past five houses or so. The only high rise I could see was far off in the distance, several miles away. I thought to myself, this is paradise. I have absolutely no stress at this very moment. Why did I leave Alabama for Boston?!Peter and I went back to the house, put on some jazz, and made pancakes for my brother and his wife. We sat out on the breezy porch and drank coffee. (I did mention the beautiful views from the porch, right?!) We all decided that our family should get together sometime to rent the house for a week. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen/dining/living area, we could definitely fit 8 to 10 people no problem. We figured if we went grocery shopping up at Brunos (located at the entrance of the 20+ mile road) and got everything we’d need for a week, we would be able to stay on the beach for the entire trip and really unplug. (Of course, we could always drive to Gulf Shores to go out for dinner, too.)Anyway, I can’t say enough wonderful things about the house, the location, and lastly, the manager. Janice Warren is very professional. There wasn’t a detail she hadn’t thought of. If you ever have a question, feel free to email me at (dated 11/1/2009)

We loved the house. Very spacious, excellent location and a short walk to the beach. We will be back. Owners a ease to book with and very nice. I would give it a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

My family took this brief trip to take a break from the hustle of opening a new business, I wanted it to be peacful and have enough room so we could have some space. The property is very nice and clean. It has been accurately represented in the description and pictures. It was most of all peaceful There was room between the homes and the beach was not crowded with people. This is what we were hoping for. Except for the rain and storms, the trip was a great experience. Even the rain didn't ruin it for us. I was a little worried of how far of a walk to the beach it might be. I will tell you this is just a short walk and good walking at that. Dont't worry about choosing this place if you need a break. It won't dissapoint you.

This house is very well maintained and the cleaning crew did a good job too! The owner is very good about returning your emails/phone calls quickly. We did have an issue with the refrigerator the first day we arrived (wasn't cooling) but after a phone call to the owner, it was quickly resolved with the help of the near-by maintenence man! Please note: there were beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc in the storage room but we had to purchase our own toilet paper and laundry soap (so bring some in case)!! It is at a perfect location(quiet, beautiful beaches, and a very open layout to the home). We hope to return next summer! Thanks!
