Swim or fish in the river, hike or mountain bike on beautiful, wild-flowered trails. Boating and golf are a few miles away and horses for trail riding are available down the road. Return in the evening to a hot bath in the tub and a book by the fire, or barbecue on the spacious deck and dine under the stars. The rustic elegance of this cabin is perfect for family vacations, wedding parties, retreats or a get away with friends.

  • This is a luxury-feel cabin at a great price. The surrounding forest is so peaceful you can feel your stress melting away as you drive up the gravel driveway. The "cabin" is spacious and open with beautiful, somewhat Japanese touches added. We especially loved the large but cozy fireplace nook with a big window seat/bed and tatami mats so the whole family can sprawl out on the floor in front of the fire. The balcony upstairs off the master bedroom is such a peaceful place to sit with a cup of tea where you can wait for the wildlife to show up. We saw turkeys and deer through the trees, and the river is a short walk away - so beautiful! Chris, the proprietress, is as nice as can be and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

  • Great property and wonderful vacation retreat! The cabin is beautifully designed and appointed and has a great location between Solvang and Santa Barbara. The property manager is fun to work with and will do all possible to make your stay comfortable. We will return next year!
