This property is the farm that my husband's grandfather owned. It has been i the family for 150 years. Undisturbed, it radiates the life of days gone by. We are very lucky this property has been kept so we can be there today.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Fantastic open space. Beautiful farmland with a private beach. We love family and friends coming and have enjoyed our guests who have stayed with us. Our road looks over the water where we take long walks, launch our sailboat or sit on the beach. We make trails around the property for walking.
Enjoy sunsets and picnics at the boathouse! Views of Castine, Islesboro and Camden. Launch your kayak here or swim. Lobsters may be ordered from the lobstermen who use this beach for evening delivery.
The Castine Yacht Club, and various eating opportunities are right across the river. Lovely B&B accommodations, dinners and clam shacks await. The Maine Maritime is here and there are many local shop
Enjoy the Opera House or the Harbor. Great shops, and Lilly's is the place to stop for lunch
National Park system. Ride your bike, have tea at the tea house or walk on the paths. Stop in Bar Harbor and return to the cabin away from the traffic!
Organic food, lobsters, and Jonathan's "Bucks" has fantastic dinner fare!

Maine is where I find the serenity to restore myself and continue to work in a creative field. The air, farm, grazing animals , open space and Penebscot Bay make living in Brooksville an exceptional experience. My husband has deep roots there and my children are bringing their children now. I can't imagine summer without being in Maine!
