This unit is one of the most desirable units at Ocean Creek Resort. It is close to the beach. It is quiet because there is no one above or on the other side and it is in the same building as the on- site Restaurant and exercise facility.
All of the kitchen appliances have been recently upgraded. In the fall of 2010 the entire unit was painted, including the ceiling. Both bathrooms were completely renovated. The kitchen and bathroom floors are new in 2011. For your convenience the unit has a secure safe for your valuables. Each bathroom has a hair dryer. An ironing board and iron are provided. The dining area can accommodate six for dinner. The large deck off the living room is completely screened and has a table and chairs for four. It is an excellent place for morning coffee and paper or sunset cocktails.
Ocean Creek resort is one of the most popular resort destinations on Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand. It is a secure gated complex with six outdoor swimming pools, two indoor swimming pools, a cabana club at beach with regular pool and children's pool, complete tennis facility, and a restaurant. Across the street is Barefoot Landing a huge shopping, dining, and entertainment complex.

Why the Owner Chose Lodge Villas
We choose Ocean Creek Resort in Myrtle Beach because it has something for everybody. It is a well maintained 57 acre, gated community with many pools, hot tub, putting green, children's playground, complete tennis center, arcade room, exercise room, bar, restaurant and it is in the heart of "The Grand Strand" It is minutes from restaurant row and across the street from Barefoot Landing which has the Alabama Theater, House of Blues, Johnny Rockets, and 100 of shops.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our unit is an end unit on the top floor (4th) so there is nobody above or on the ocean side. We get light from three sides so our unit is bright and airy. Our property is just behind the two high rise towers. In hurricane season we are sheltered from the winds, yet we are a short walk to the Beach Club and ocean.

My wife and I have been going to Myrtle beach for the past 16 years and plan on going many more years. It is a great place to relax and have a good time. We love to walk the beach, read books at the beach newly renovated cabana club and have a glass of wine at the beach club as we watch the sun go down.

Recently stayed here from 7-9-11 tru 7-15-11. We were traveling to Myrtle Beach for my daughter's dance competition and had never stayed in MB before, say, for a short drive to visit for one day years ago. Not being familiar with the area, it's proxemities to various places, it was confusing at best in looking at the thousands of options that were presented. This particular one's discription, it's reviews, seemed to fit what we were looking for, and after talking to the owner, I had a warm and fuzzy, that this was going to be fine. We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised that everything was just as described, and in some cases, maybe slightly, modestly understated. The condo was in great shape, very spacious for the four of us, (more could have fit in), the grounds were very well kept with visible maintainence occuring daily on the building and grounds. The walk to the beach was short, and if you were lucky, a shuttle was available that cold be flagged down. The beach was excellant with the creek emptying into the ocean allowing for a different deminsion in the beach experience. To your left were the crowds and all the hopla of a typical beach resort beach, but if that was not your cup of tea, a short walk to the right which is the beach for private housing, one could find all the privacy and space, limited only by how far one wanted to walk! Ocean Creek has a light and is conveniently located to shopping/restaurants/activities and the drive back to Myrtle Beach to the convention center wasn't that bad ( about 20 min. depending on traffic.) The bar at the beach served up some good/conveinent food/beverages and was a very inviting experience enjoying them with a full view of beach and ocean. We plan on doing it again next year.

We just returned from our week-long stay in this Ocean Creek condo, and it is pretty much accurately described. We had plenty of space for our family and felt like we were at home. It is a less than five minute walk to the beach, and is located on a strip that is almost deserted, which makes it feel like a private beach. It's right by one of the Tanger Outlets, and there are plenty of restaurants, mini golf, and other activities nearby. It is about a 15 minute drive from the downtown Myrtle Beach, which makes it quiet and relaxing. We only found 2 outdoor pools in the complex (we didn't try too hard) which were pretty small and usually full of children splashing around. Overall, the condo was exactly what we expected. The carpets, furniture, and appliances were a little dated (there wasn't a DVD player anywhere and the WIFI connection was very weak), but it did the job for us, since we weren't planning on spending much time at home anyway.

This unit clean and fully functional. My fifteen year olds particularly liked the short walk to the beach where the creek meets the ocean. The pools were warm and comfortable and the bar at the beach was a hoot!

We had a wonderful time on our mini vacation. The property was well maintained and clean. The location was perfect for us. We especially liked that our lodge was the closest to the entrance to the beach. Although it was bike week during our stay, we heard no bikes and the resort stayed quiet and well kept. The noise level was very quiet and serene. Thanks again. We definitely recommend this condo!

This was a great weekend (in spite of the commotion from Bike Week!) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Your unit was in an excellent location close to the beach, so we walked down there quite a bit. Our son (2 1/2 years old) had a great time.
