  I rented this property with some co-workers as we were in town for a convention and hotels were very expensive in our last minute decision. It was a quick 20 minute drive to the convention center and places we went for dinner. Beautifully appointed home! Would recommend to anyone who is looking to do the same, wants to save money for a larger party.

  Beautiful home! Little further from the French Quarter than we were told, but we still enjoyed the home. Also, the home needs to be cleaned a little better. Overall the homw was wonderful!

  Awesomely beautiful but comfortable house! My party of 10 of all ages thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the amenities were included - gourmet kitchen, boutique hotel type beds, and the house was even decorated for Christmas which everyone thought was lovely. Can't recommend this place enough. Make sure you try the gumbo at the Arabi Deli 2 blocks away.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  A terrific experience and will definitely use the property again if I am going to be in New Orleans for any extended time. The house was well equipped and the entire rental process was outstanding. The neighborhood was decent where the house is, but the surrounding area is not exactly what I wouold consider to be real safe. That is the onle negative, but we had no issues.

  I have visited LA many times & am so glad we stayed in this lovely & comfortable home. 8 adults stayed for a 50th birthday celebration. Although it is a bit off the "beaten path", it was a quick ride down St. Claude to get to the French Quarter. Cabs were not as plentiful as other reviews had stated & so we did not rent a car, as we wanted to enjoy having a drink & not have the responsibility to drive in NOLA. I would have preferred to have a car for daytime adventures, as sometimes transport took up to 45 minutes to appear. Arabi Food Store is convenient, walks to the river were nice. Hung out on both front & back patios. Comfy, clean & spacious bedrooms-my favorite room is the dining room! Hope the jacuzzi in the master bath is fixed soon, as I was hoping to use it, but could not due to a broken button. Still, I would come back to stay here with a group again & hope to do so.   Spent a week at the home with my husband and 3 kids. I was a little hesitant before arriving as the cost was fairly low (of course that is what attracted me to the home as well :) ) When we arrived the home was wonderful. Everything in good repair, plenty of space and nicely stocked with all the amenities. Definitely would stay here again!!

  We loved the vacation home for our family getaway to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. It was an easy drive to the French Quarter and Garden Districts, where we played all day and then came home for a relaxing evening. The home looks exactly like the pictures and is extremely comfortable. There are bedrooms on both floors, which is great for those who have difficulty with stairs. We loved being able to gather in the kitchen and living room areas instead of going back to separate hotel rooms!! Wonderful weekend.

  The house is gorgeous! This house is a great place to stay if your visiting the New Orleans area. The house was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were very pleasant and we very much enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this home to anyone who is visting the area and they would like to rent a home instead of staying in a hotel. It is truely a home away from home.

  This was a very nice house for our stay. There were 9 people in our group and plenty of room to accommodate all of us. The home has been incredibly restored for the age especially considering severe weather conditions over the last 200 years. We all enjoyed the beautiful wood work and restored features while also including more modern amenities such as TVs in each room and high end appliances. You can really tell the home owner cares for this property and it was well appreciated by all.

  If a picture is worth a thousand words, the live visuals in this house are worth a million! Easily a page out of Architectural Digest. This home is not only gorgeous but comfortable and welcoming. It is apparent that these owners love this house and have taken great care in furnishing it and making it a truly remarkable place. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable and there is a tv in each bedroom. The main living room was spacious and relaxing for our family. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out and plan our day. Very clean with plenty of bathrooms to go around. And of course, free wifi was great to have. This has to be the most beautifully furnished rental home that we have ever stayed in! It was actually nice not staying overnight in the noisy French Quarter and instead having a quiet night's sleep in a quiet neighborhood. Avoiding the expensive overnight cost for parking in the French Quarter in exchange for free overnight parking at the house was equally a treat. The French Quarter was less than a 5 mile drive, literally 15 minutes away. The fantastic family owned Arabi food store and restaurant (4 stars on yelp) is just a walk down the street - one of the best places for po'boys in NO. And Capt Sal's (4 stars on yelp) is a very short drive for freshly cooked seafood. This home is 5 stars in my book!
