Wears Valley cabin description
Our cabin has 2 bedrooms and two full baths. Bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house which provides the utmost privacy for each visitor. Both bedrooms have a king size bed with pillow-top mattresses that make for a good night's rest. Each has a TV. One bedroom is
decorated with a Bear theme and the other with a deer theme. There is a carport for your car and a deck that goes from the carport to the rear of the cabin where the covered porch is located. On the covered porch there are rocking chairs and a table and chairs for eating outdoors. The hot tub is also located in this area. There are neighbors on each side, but not too close. We cannot see neighbors while sitting on the back porch or sitting in the hot tub, and they cannot see us. You will never have to get out in the rain while staying at our cabin. From the carport you can go directly into the house or take the deck around to the back. From the house you can go directly onto the covered rear porch. No muddy feet or climbing steps at this cabin.

Cabin was perfect for our weekend vacation! Location is ideal...short drive to Townsend, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, and Pigeon Forge. Weather was sunny but cool. National Park was closed due to government shutdown so we will be planning another stay within a month! Thank you for making our stay feel like home! We hope to stay at your cabin for years to come!

Owner response: We are so glad that you enjoyed our Peace of Heaven in the mountains. We want our guests to feel at home and want to return, and are glad that's the feeling you got. Thankfully the government shutdown is over so you can now visit some of your favorite places that you had to miss on this visit. Please do come back soon! The Fall colors should be coming to a peak very soon. Look forward to hearing from you again!
Cabin was just as they say, very nice and clean. Very comfortable and secluded. However I asked the owner about getting a trailer behind a pickup to the location and getting motorcycles in and out of there with a gravel drive to the location, I was told no problem. Not true, It is not for the faint of heart to get a truck and trailer up to the location (only wide enough for 1 way traffic with very steep and sharp switchbacks) and once you get it there it is very difficult to get turned around to get out. I have been going to wears valley for years and consider my self very experienced with truck and trailer and this road is no cake walk. The gravel drive will challenge the most experienced motor cycle rider on a heavy H.D. getting in or out. I would consider renting this cabin again with our motorcycles if the gravel drive part was to be paved then the rest of the road would be tolerable for me but probably not for the average person having to pull a trailer up in there.

Owner response: I am sorry this traveler had trouble getting his bike trailer in and out. I was not trying to mislead him, as I told him about the drive, even sending a picture of the gravel drive. I have had several guests who trailer their bikes in through the years, and none of them have complained. A few of them return year after year. The gravel drive is a community drive used on a daily basis by all owners and their guests.

About the owner: My wife and I live in Maryville TN. When we first looked at this cabin, we knew that we could turn it into a great cabin for people to come to and enjoy. We take great pride in keeping it clean and a desirable place to visit. Be sure and read the review and comments that our previous visitors have made.
Why the Owner Chose Wears Valley:
It is the perfect setting - Up high enough to have a great view but not too high. Not very many people can say that they have a view from both the front and back of their cabin. It is in the middle of all the sites that a person will want to see. It is hard to get much closer to the entrance to the park and all the hiking trails.
