Our Casa Del Mar property is a 3,200 square foot, 5 BR/2.5 BA home with a heated pool on a large fenced corner lot. This home features a separate living room, dining room, family room and game room (5th bedroom). We are located on Jackson Street in the established affluent neighborhood of Hollywood Hills in Hollywood, Florida.
Plenty of space and seclusion - Sleeps up 18 (1 King Size Bed, 5 Queen Size Beds, 2 Full Size Futons, 1 Queen Size Sofa bed, 1 Full Size Sofa bed)
The kitchen is equipped with service for 18 as well as all the pots, pans, cookware necessary to create your own gourmet meal. We feature an electric stove, a microwave, a double oven, dishwasher and a side by side stainless steel refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser.
The eat-in kitchen features an elegant traditional corner breakfast nook with seating for 8. The open and airy dining room area which is adjacent to the kitchen features a beautiful wood table with seating for eight and chandelier. A large French door provides access to the pool/patio area.
The entry welcomes you to the foyer with a half bathroom then you step down into the spacious 22' x 13' living room area that features comfortable seating; a queen size sofa bed couch, loveseat and chair. The half bathroom is located across from the living room.
The 20' x 18' family room contains a large sofa sectional with seating for 8 and a full size sofa bed. There is a big screen SDTV, PC Computer area with desktop pc and printer and a beautiful view of the pool/patio area through French doors. The family room also features a PlayStation 2 and 50+ DVDs.
The large 18' x 17' master bedroom features a king size bed with a spacious sitting area that includes a side chair and a laptop table, a lighted ceiling fan, a walk-in closet, a mirrored dresser with two night stands, a private bath and a Flat Screen HDTV w/DVD player.
The master bathroom has a large countertop with one sink and a large vanity mirror with plenty of lighting. There is also a window, two person shower, a heat lamp and a linen closet.
The 16' x 16' 2nd bedroom features two queen size beds, a sitting chair, a night stand, large windows to allow plenty of natural light and a lighted ceiling fan to keep you cool. There is a Flat Screen HDTV with DVD player provided.
The 18' x 16' 3rd bedroom features two queen size beds, a night stand, large windows to allow plenty of natural light and a lighted ceiling fan to keep you cool. There is a Flat Screen HDTV with DVD player provided.
The 12' x 14' 4th bedroom features one queen size bed, two night stands, one large window to allow natural light and a ceiling fan to keep you cool. There is a Flat Screen HDTV with DVD player provided.
The 2nd bathroom is very large and features his and her sinks, two large vanity mirrors, overhead heating lights, a bathtub/shower combination with glass shower door, linen closet & patio access (cabana bath).
The 20' x 25' Game room/5th bedroom contains an 8' pool table, a 6-in-1 air hockey/foosball table and a bistro set. In addition, there are two full size futon beds, a closet area, a separate A/C wall unit and a wall mounted HDTV.
Please note all TV's receive Over-The-Air HDTV Signals that provide 35 local channels (PBS, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, CW, Etc.) in High Definition. In addition, the Family Room TV provides over 100 Cable Channels.
High Speed Internet access is provided by the workstation on site and wireless access is also available; bring your laptop and connect freely. Unlimited U.S. & Puerto Rico phone calls. In the home there is a small freezer, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.
Outside you will find plenty of seating under the 45' x 12' covered balcony with 3 ceiling fans, 8 patio chairs (1 lounger), outdoor dining set for 4, gas barbecue grill, outdoor cooler w/bottle opener, queen size futon, outdoor shower and cabana bath.
The large 15' x 32' heated pool is so inviting, you'll never want to get out! The screened enclosure is 25' x 45' and behind the pool there is a separate enclosed fenced yard to allow the kids to play freely yet safely.
The Beach is no more than 5-10 minutes away and the Emerald Hills Golf and Country Club is also just down the street. We are also located just three blocks away from the bus line, so getting anywhere is accessible, even without a car. This is South Florida living at it's finest!
Just a mile away is Topeekeegee-Yugnee Park (known as T.Y. Park for short). The park features a Swimming Lagoon, which includes a treated waterfall and swimming beach. There's also Castaway Island, a water playground complex featuring two pools, a picnic area, a concession stand and restrooms. T-Y also offers paddle boats and rowboats for rent, bat/ball/glove rentals for baseball fans, two hard tennis courts, two basketball courts, a biking/jogging path, volleyball areas and concessions.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Mar, it is a very spacious house to accomodate 10+ travelers. It is located in a very nice neighborhood, only a couple of miles away from I-95, and a few minutes away from Hollywood Beach, eventhough once you get in the pool, you might not even want to head to the beach. Right on Hollywood Blvd you can find different restaurants or grocery stores if you just want to prepare your meals at the house. We found everything we needed in the house and the internet works just fine. Since our stay had a purpose other than vacation, we are actually thinking of gathering a group of friends and rent it in the near future. The backyard needs a little cleaning though. Other than that, we thought it is the perfect house for a nice vacation with friends and family!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at Casa Del Mar July 2009 and had a great time. It is in a good location. We visited Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Key Largo. We have older children from age 15-21 and they had alot to do at the house. They enjoyed the pool, pool table, computer and video games. It is a great place for a reasonable price.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

Stayed for 10 nights at Casa Del Mar last February with 4 adults and 3 children and enjoyed it very much. Plenty of room and a great pool. Even with nice weather, it was a good idea to heat the pool in February as the kids jumped in first thing every morning. The pool is quite deep for children not able to swim yet, so floaters are recommendable and of course adult attendence at all times. Location was great for us with two golf course (Orangebrook and Hillcrest)with less than 5 minutes, both of them friendly for my 7 yr old beginner as well. Orangebrook extremely so and great value too, Hillcrest (2min away)was a nice course. Beach is about 15 minutes away, but overall the location with regards Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Everglades and e.g. Sawgrass Mills worked really well for us. The house was clean equiped with all the necessary things including internet. Game room was great with the pool table. Plenty of TV's but unfortunately no satellite. The agency handled everything very promptly and professionally and we are happy to recommend the place to anyone who wants spacious house in a quiet neighbourhood.

Great home to stay in. It had everything we needed. The pool was fun and we had plenty of room for 8 adults. Great central location between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Very easy access to everything. We would recommend staying here to anyone.

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was great. I rented the house to be closer to where my daughter was getting married. We had lots of room to entertain the out of town guests who stopped by to visit us . The house was very well equiped, lots of towels,bedding kitchen needs, game room, even little extras such as shampoo etc. A nice bbq by the pool. I envy the person who rents in the summer as there is a mango tree full of young mango's waiting to be a special treat. I highly recomend this house and the professional,friendly service of the agency. Thank you for a memorable stay. Peter
