Come to this wonderful condo at the Seawinds in Ormond Beach, Florida, near Daytona and Orlando. Direct oceanfront on a no-drive beach lets you have a wonderful view with great sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the inter-coastal waterway. This lovely corner condo comes with a heated oceanfront swimming pool where you can relax and get away from it all, and high speed Wireless Internet to stay in contact with the rest of the world.
Our two bedroom, two bath beach front vacation condominium has direct ocean views. Magnificent ocean sunrises are seen right from your bedroom window. A wonderful balcony overlooks the beach. A favorite time is that morning cup of coffee watching the sunrise while overlooking the deserted beach or sharing a glass of wine in the evening while listening to the sound of the surf. Let the tensions disappear as you relax in your beach chair or take long walks along the great Atlantic Ocean.
This unit is a great addition to the rental market. It's one of only a few corner units available in this building. The corner gives great views from the living room and dining area not available on the interior units.
For those that want more than just the quiet and solitude of beach life, why not try windsurfing or kayaking? Rentals are available in close proximity. There are also many more active attractions and amusements within easy travel distance. Perhaps it would be playing a round of golf or visiting nearby Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, or Orlando and Disney World. A short 5 mile drive south to Daytona provides great nightlife. On special occasions, such as Speed Week or Bike Week, incredible excitement is created.
Our Ormond Beach oceanfront condominium has been recently redecorated and the tastefully appointed Master Suite comes with a plush king size pillow top bed decked in luxurious linens. The master bath includes a garden tub with separate shower for your relaxation. The dressing area has a sit down vanity and generous walk-in closet; no need to live out of a suitcase. A new flat panel TV is provided in the master bedroom and cable TV is available in both bedrooms and the living room. A DVD video library is provided with some great titles with DVD players in both the living room and master bedroom. We also have books for your reading pleasure with our "take one, leave one" policy.
The second bedroom has two twin beds which convert to a comfortable King-sized bed with a luxurious memory foam top. Simply indicate your preference prior to your arrival. It will be waiting for you. The guest bedroom has an adjoining bath with private access which creates a second master suite. Both bedrooms have cable TV and ample drawer and closet space, extra towels and linens.
The living room entices you to sit down and enjoy the fabulous Atlantic Ocean and beach views overlooking the swimming pool. A leather sofa breathes luxury and invites an afternoon nap. This room opens to the balcony. A variety of board games are provided for your family's enjoyment. The stylish dining room comfortably seats six and provides a great view of the ocean.
The large oceanfront swimming pool is reserved just for the guests of the Seawinds. It's directly on the beach and has a fresh water shower available to rinse off the sand and salt. Beach chairs are provided for your use by the pool or in the sand.
The kitchen has brand new appliances not shown in the a pictures. A full size washer and dryer are located right inside our vacation condominium unit along with beach towels, boogie boards, and a beach umbrella.
The Seawinds in Ormond Beach, Florida is a secure, wheel chair accessible building with key/code entry only. A garage door opener will get you inside the private underground parking garage where you will have your own assigned space. Shopping carts make it easy to bring in your groceries.

Year Purchased: 2008
Our family enjoys the condos during the shoulder season and some selected holidays. We love to travel other places during the summer. We stay home at our home on Florida's west coast during the winter and spring.
We are active in our community and our church at home. We love to meet people and having travelled so much, recognize the needs for a nicely furnished, well equipped, comfortable and clean place to stay.
Each year after we stay at the condo, we always leave new improvements behind. For example, this season, out condo has a new dishwasher and oven. New light fixtures in the bathrooms give a lot more light.
Why the Owner Chose Ormond Beach
Sharon grew up in Florida and made great memories in the Daytona Beach area as a kid. About fifteen years ago, we began to bring our kids. We found Ormond Beach to be a quieter part of the beach, great for small children and relaxing adults.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Our favorite time is spending time with the family or just as a couple. It is very relaxing and often there are just a few people here at the building.
We love having the major grocery store within a few blocks. Often, one of us will walk down to the store and buy just enough for the day so we can repeat the journey again.
Our balcony is offset in such a way that we reall y don't see anyone else in our building unless we really "crane" our necks around the corner. It provides great privacy for our conversations.
We talk a beach walk every day striving to walk further each day. Our goal is to make it to Betty's for supper by the end of the week or Peach Valley for breakfast.

We enjoyed staying at your property. It was everything we had expected from the pictures. The owners were very helpful as well as the person on site. We only have one complaint. The outside lighting is horrible. We would come in after dark and there was no lighting at the back steps. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much. We hope to stay there again in the future.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thoughtful owners have equipped this condo with many extras and we found nothing to have to run out for on our arrival. Very comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. Full size appliances are a great feature including a washer and dryer (no need to run to a common user facility with pockets full of quarters). Great unrestricted view of the ocean, spectacular sunrises, beautiful uncrowded beach and pool. Very quiet and private corner unit, we never knew when or if we had neighbours. Lots of restaurants and attractions close by in Daytona Beach, plenty of golf, tennis, water sports, etc. Tks for everything Mr and Mrs Taylor, we hope to return in the future.

We stayed in this condo for 6 wks, Jan/Feb 2011. We found it to be just as advertised. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven this is it. It is nicely decorated and just steps from the beach/ocean. Glorious ocean views all the time and constant soothing ocean sounds day and night. Each sunrise and sunset is different and mesmerizing. The condo is very well equipped and efficient. In the kitchen you will find everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal or a simple snack, and there is plenty of excellent reading material if you are in the mood to just relax with a good book. A Publix supermarket is right across the street for easy grocery shopping and the condo location is within easy driving distance to numerous shopping malls, restaurants, tourist attractions and sightseeing trips. It's a beautiful area no matter what direction you choose to drive in. St. Augustine and Orlando, with all the Disney attractions, are easily accessable and fun to explore.It is just minutes North of Daytona which has many, many great opportunities to fill your days with shopping, walking, entertainment centers and points of interest like Ponce Inlet where people gather to view the awesome sunsets while enjoying food and a favorite beverage.We truly enjoyed the long walks on the beach and the balcony overlooking the ocean and the beach. The condo is on the 9th floor on the south/east corner of the building and the balcony doesn't lose sun until late afternoon allowing for much more sunbathing than ajacent units or buildings. We also found that the owners were very accessable and interested in how our stay was going. An unforseen plumbing problem was handled quickly and efficiently and with no disruption to our day's schedule by a very competent workman summoned by the owners. We would reccommend this condo and have alredy booked it for 2012.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo on Ormond Beach. The condo was wonderful and felt more like home than most that we have stayed in. There were books to read, movies to watch, and games for the kids. I looked forward to seeing the sunrise every morning from the balcony. The master bedroom was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The master bedroom had a large walk-in closet, a bathroom area with a vanity, shower, and a huge bath tub. The spare room was great for the children. Each had her own bed, and there was a door adjoining the second bathroom. The pool was very nice. We had it to ourselves most of the time. Additionally, the beach was sparsely populated. A nice thing about the condo is that there are not large condos on either side. This allowed the evening sunlight to reach the beach directly in front of the Taylor’s condo. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys are kept in the underground parking area. The parking garage was great because our car was never hot. Finally, the Ormond area was great. It is not busy and crowded like Daytona. Directly behind the condo is a shopping center with a Publix grocery, Belles Outlet, and a good Chinese takeout restaurant. Stavros Pizza is just down the road. It was very good. The Publix grocery had a Blockbuster video rental cube, which was nice. We would recommend that you drive to Daytona at least once to eat breakfast at Crabby Joes on the peer. The waves crash below as you eat. This was one of our best vacations. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo.

We stayed in this lovely condominium for a week and were most impressed. The decorations are new and modern. The views of the ocean are magnificent. Being a corner unit provides nice additional space. The unit was fully equipped and we discovered nothing lacking which should have been there the entire week.The no-drive beach is a big plus. We would heartily recommend the unit to anyone.

Comment Text: What a great place. Everything was perfect. The views were spectacular and the location was great. Right on the beach. No street to cross. The condo is decorated to make it feel like a cottage by the sea. Everything is new and in pristine condition. Lots of linens. Comfortable beds and lots of closet space. And did I say the view from the 9th floor is absolutely amazing! You can see the ocean, the city, and the river--all at the same time.
