Location: Lollipop enjoys peace and tranquility on a quiet country lane, but is less than a mile to downtown Monte Rio, with its grocery stores, public beach, boat rentals, movie theater, tennis courts, and restaurants. Featuring a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Russian River and the forests beyond, this cabin is quiet and private.
House: Simply adorable, Lollipop (~750sf) provides a spectacular view and a cozy intimate environment. The main cabin has a small kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living room with stone fireplace, television, and river view. Off the living room, there's a deck overlooking the river. The bathroom has a shower only. This home sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bedroom, with king bed and television, is in the main cabin. A second, very spacious bedroom called the "satellite" is attached to the main cabin, but is accessed from outdoors, a few yards from the front entrance. This luxurious bedroom has a queen bed, 36" television, French doors to a private deck, and a stunning river view. This room also features a desktop computer with high-speed Internet access. For those with laptops, there is Wireless high-speed Internet access.
Grounds: Lollipop is a sweet treat in all seasons. There'a a hot tub privately situated in a lovely, landscaped garden and a river-front deck with patio dining, gas grill, and loungers. River access is by stairs to a seasonal dock, with two canoes included. One of our few river-front homes with secure fencing, this home is perfect for guests with dogs.
