Great place to stay, clean and well maintained. My only suggestion would be it would be nice to have a good place to clean fish in the winter.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Hi Paula We had a great week at the Cascade cabin. Weather was superb with lows down to 16 degrees and highs up to 45 --- no wind --- which is always good! The fishing was tough but we did OK. Caught some really nice perch - many 14 inches and quite a few small ones which will be future lunkers. Ended up keeping 35 jumbo perch and 20 rainbow trout. Released allot of small perch and a few trout. The ice conditions were perfect - nice solid ice about 25 inches thick. The cabin remodel is very nice and having the flat screen TV with Dish was a real treat. We got to watch the Superbowl and Pac 12 basketball games. We just love that place! Hope to see you and Darson --- maybe next year. Regards, TerryRecommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The cabin was very cute and clean. It is well stocked with everything you need. It was close to a fun hike. The only drawbacks were that it is quite close to many other cabins and the road (which was dusty and had a lot of 4 wheeler traffic). We had a nice time and the price was affordable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway.
Owner response: Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year, as far as the amount of people and traffic in the immediate area. Normally, it is very quiet , few people and much less traffic. Also, due to the dry summer and our recent landscaping work, and the big holiday weekend, all these combined created more dust than usual. We always appreciate our guests comments. It helps us to maintain a 100% satisfaction rate. Thank You!

Thanks Paula for keeping your cabins affordable. The updated couch and love seat were really nice. There's a foam pad on one of the queen beds, We used that room because we enjoy a softer bed. The bathroom was larger than expected, With two windows that opened. We took a tour of Paula's other smaller cabin that's across the road, It looks like it could sleep 7 or 8 people, With a futon and a day bed in the living area. The kitchen is nice and new .I noticed a T.V. in that cabin also. We spent most of our time roaming the mountains on our 4 wheelers. Spent June 1st at the beach ,and it was warm enough to swim that day.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks for your review. I love to hear from guests about their stay and it sounds like you had a great time! Please come back and see us again.

We stayed here for the whole month of July. Walking distance to boat ramp with small beach. Surrouned by trees, many trails for hiking, raods for ATVs, etc. Paula(owner) was very welcoming and accomidating; provided all household items for the cabin, and even firewood. Loved our stay. Great for children. Very affordable. Will definitely stay again! A great home away from home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
