This beautiful home is situated on the north shore of Lake Chapala - Mexico's largest natural lake. The house is in a gated community with 24 hour security. The weather is semi-tropical and rated as one of the best in the world. The days are warm and the evenings comfortable.
The casa is two stories and features a circular staircase and "Juliette" balcony complete with piñatas! The casa is an open concept that is bright and airy. There are two master bedrooms. The master suite located on the main floor offers a king size bed that can be converted to two single beds, if desired.
This suite offers a large walk in closet and on suite bathroom with tub, shower and two sinks. The second master suite is located on the second floor. It offers a small sitting area, on suite bathroom with shower/tub combination and two sinks as well as access to the rooftop patio.
The private roof top patio has a view of Lake Chapala and the Sierra Madre mountains. Enjoy the spectacular sunset from this private oasis. There is a lovely wrought iron umbrella table and 4 chairs that allow for a quiet and relaxing getaway.
If you prefer, there is also a patio on the ground level that offers wicker chairs and a table for entertaining. The manicured garden provides plenty of privacy and fresh flower fragrance. Weekly gardening service is included.
The casa has a full kitchen, with a frost-free refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender and electric grill. The house has DISH satellite TV which includes 100+ channels and New York City local channels. There is also a DVD player with a small collection of DVDs that you are welcome to view. There is a small book library, too.
The house has a small dining area with seating for 6. The livingroom is charming and seats 4-6 comfortably. The family room is intimate and will seat 2-4 comfortably for watching TV or a movie or simply relaxing with a book.
The casa is located in a gated community that offers 24 hour per day security. There is a clubhouse on property that includes a gym, pool, hot tub and lots of activities.
The house is a short walking distance to the small town of San Antonio Tlayacapan that offers quaint cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, boutiques all with a Mexican flair. Wal-Mart is but a block away!
