Nestled in the shade under palm, pine, and live oak trees with walking distance to swimming pool, fitness center, playground, golf course, tennis courts and restaurant. The island is perfect for biking to enjoy the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife in the resort or to bike over to the ocean for a walk on the beach. Take beach towels and enjoy the day where there's space to spread your towel! Watch for porpoises! As the day winds down, travel back through the lovely bike paths over the island. Stop at the wonderful little seafood market outside the resort to purchase the catch of the day for dinner. Don't feel like cooking? There are several local restaurants offering local cuisine! Oh, and don't forget to catch the sunset at the water's edge.
Bikes and kayaks can be rented on the island and a variety of tours are offered on the nearby rivers which offer great opportunities to pick up seashells and admire the wildlife. Explore the unique gift shops which offer some of the local arts and crafts or explore the nature reserve.
