Far removed from the outside world, yet close to everything, Sapelo Hogan (our home named for the Sapelo River that runs near, and Hogan for the sacred home as named by the Navajo Indians) is a luxurious home with lagoon views from almost every room. From the moment you wind up the driveway framed by live oaks and enter the front door you will delight in watching herons, egrets, wood storks and countless playful ducks dancing on the peaceful waters of Duckhaven Lagoon. The owner and her interior designer designed this home with luxurious casual living in mind, with every convenience available to you.

The lagoon side of this home boasts wrap around windows and doors offering spectacular views all day and night long. Step through any of the glass doors to relax on two screened-in porches or open-air wrap around deck to fire up the gas grill while watching the picturesque sunset sky ignite into brilliant colors.

Located along Georgia’s coastline, the place where the treasured Golden Isles lie, this unspoiled area of land seems untouched by time. Set among the marshes on the White Chimney River is the gated community of Cooper’s Point at Shellman Bluff.

Whether watching dolphins and wildlife dockside at Pavilion Point, or playing a round of golf at the award-winning Sapelo Hammock Championship Golf Course, or day tripping to Savannah, Hilton Head, Darien, or St. Simon’s for shopping, touring or dining, you will be welcomed home to the warmth of Sapelo Hogan.
