Far removed from the outside world, yet close to everything, Sapelo Hogan (our home named for the Sapelo River that runs near, and Hogan for the sacred home as named by the Navajo Indians) is a luxurious home with lagoon views from almost every room. From the moment you wind up the driveway framed by live oaks and enter the front door you will delight in watching herons, egrets, wood storks and countless playful ducks dancing on the peaceful waters of Duckhaven Lagoon. The lagoon side of this home boasts wrap around windows and doors offering spectacular views all day and night long. Located along Georgia’s coastline, the place where the treasured Golden Isles lie, this unspoiled area of land seems untouched by time. Set among the marshes on the White Chimney River is the gated community of Cooper’s Point at Shellman Bluff.
Whether watching dolphins and wildlife dockside at Pavilion Point, or playing a round of golf at the award-winning Sapelo Hammock Championship Golf Course, or day tripping to Savannah, Hilton Head, Darien, or St. Simon’s for shopping, touring or dining, you will be welcomed home to the warmth of Sapelo Hogan.

Email from Sapelo Hogan Guests: Hi Lin, Life quickly get's too busy when you return back home from a wonderful vacation. I just wanted to send you a note that you can share on your website and with the owner of Sapelo Suite. My husband and I enjoyed what was probably one of the best vacations that we have had in the 22 years that we have been married. Although, our three daughters (two college students and one high school student) were not able to join us, as a couple, we experienced for 2 days a quite and beautiful time during our stay at Sapelo Suite. The home was incredible regarding the location on the small lake and the interior design definitely exceeding our expectations. I felt as though this house could be a place that we call home away from our home in Atlanta. We hope to return to the Georgia Coast area in the spring and will look to stay at Sapelo Hogan or Sapelo Suite to ensure that we can recreate the wonderful experience we had in February.
