Review Submitted Date of Stay May 26, 2011 just back from holiday staying at this lovely home, this is our 6th year staying on southern dunes and this was probably the best house we stayed in,there were 6 people and our ages range from 67 to 17,and there is everything in this house that you might need.This is a gated community that is very safe.For anyone thinking of going on holiday to florida why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a lovely home with everything you need and have your own swimming pool,come and go as you wish.Having tv's in all the rooms was a bonus, after a busy day out you could head off to bed and watch tv and relax,the pool table was great also,if i was ever heading back to florida i would certainly be looking to see if this house was available.The owner helene was great we are so glad she let us rent her villa as it made our holiday even better,theres alot to be said for where you stay on holiday ...and for us it was this villa.

My husband and I have rented numerousmany homes at Southern Dunes over the years. We rented this home for two months (Winter 2011), and we agree this was by far the nicest home yet......so much so, we have booked for next year. The Owner and the Property Manager couldn't do enough for us. They we very attentive and pleased to make our vacation as comfortable as possible. The house is clean, well equiped and tastefully furnished. We highly recommend this home to anyone wanting the best vacation ever.

Two Great Holiday Weeks Rating: 5 out of 5 Review Submitted March 16, 2011 Date of Stay September 2010 We have had many holidays in Florida over the past 30 years and stayed in quite a few villas. Last September (2010) a much reduced family holiday of just three of us (as compared with our normal group size of 6 to 7) stayed at this lovely villa. Although there were only three on this occasion, the villa was not overpowering in spite of the fact that it could accommodate a larger group with its four bedrooms. The description and the photos on the web site were accurate and the location is both beautiful overlooking the Southern Dunes golf course as well as being extremely convenient for shops and eating establishments. Arrangements with the owner were trouble free and she dealt with us in what I would describe as a friendly yet business like manner. Should we wish to return to this area in the future, we will definitely look at the availability of this villa and we have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends and family. Recommended for: ELDERLY , NOCAR , FAMILIES_TEENS , FAMILIES_YOUNG_CHILDREN , ROMANTIC

Review Submitted: October 30, 2010 Date of Stay: October 2010 We have just spent 10 nights at this villa, and can honestly say we could not fault it! The villa was spotless, well maintained and Russ was very efficient. The location is just perfect - my husband and son are keen golfers, and played Southern Dunes 3 times, beautiful golf course. Walmart and Winn Dixie are at the entrance of the complex, and that was very convenient. Helene, was very efficient with ALL my enquiries and most helpful. Thankyou for letting us stay in your lovely villa. Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We have just returned from a great 3 week holiday and I can honestly say that we could find no fault with the villa or its location. This was our 3rd visit to Florida and we can safely say that this villa was the best property yet. It was spotless clean and had everything that we needed to make us feel like we were staying in a home and not a hotel. My 2 teenagers spent most evenings in the games room and on the computer (which kept the adults happy) and with televisions in every bedroom it meant that there were no tv arguments. The location was great, the back of the house really is facing the golf course but it still feels very private due to the trees backing on to the property. We have no hesitation in recommending either the villa or Helene to anybody and we are looking forward to staying there again...

Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

This beautiful villa provided our family with a clean, spacious and centrally located home away from home for three glorious weeks this past March & April. The accomodations were exactly as shown in the photos posted on the VRBO website rental listing. The beds were all very comfortable & clean and everyone reported having a good night's sleep each & every morning. We were especially pleased with the proximity to shopping and restaurants plus the central location allowed us to take numerous day trips to many of Florida's most popular attractions. The owner responded very promptly to all my inquires and the management company was exceptional, replacing a defective telephone almost immediately. All in all, I will definitely consider renting this unit again and will have no problem recommending it to the rest of my family & friends.

We rented this viila for our 3 week summer holiday, I couldn't fault a single thing, there was everything we needed to make our stay perfect. All descriptions on the website about the property we found to be totally accurate. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kids loved that there was tvs in each room. The internet access was a massive bonus for us given that we have a teenage daughter so she could keep in touch with her friends. The pool was fantastic and some days we had to drag ourselves away to go and do other things. We are not golfers but the location was so peaceful and if you were looking to golf the amenities looked very good. Advertising spoke highly of the golf course. Other advantages of the location was Walmart being so close and Domino's Pizza was a big hit. All in all we had an brilliant time and if returning to Florida would definitely rent this villa again. Recommended for: Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

From beginning to end this house and the owner were PERFECT! Everything I could need was at my fingertips and just about everything but my toothbrush was provided. The pool was heated to the right temputure before we even got there. I can't say enough! Thanks Helene. My family just spent Spring Break in FL and chose this house for our lodging. It was perfect. The house was very clean. There was ample space for sleeping and the kitchen was well equipped. The private pool was very nice and was heated to a good temperature. The location is great - it is close to the beached and to the theme parks. Also, it is very convenient to be so close to Walmart. Security is great. Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
