Shopping in Minocqua is only 3 miles away, with the Hazelhurst park just 1 mile away offering a ball diamond, tennis and basketball court.
The bearskin biking/hiking trail is 1/4 mile away.

Just returned from a week with our family at this wonderful home. The home is in great shape, and can comfortably sleep 8 people. It is very clean and well maintained, both inside and out. Everything you need is provided; cooking utensils, towels, even a brand new washer/dryer. Beautiful and private setting, with only a very short walk down to the lake/dock. The home is literally minutes from all the activities of Minocqua, but also feels very private and secluded. If you haven't been on Lake Katherine, it is absolutely gorgeous, and very quiet. The lake is perfect size for skiing, tubing and fishing, but not too big or too busy, even on the weekends. The kids loved swimming off the dock, catching fish, and riding in the paddle boat and pontoon (which is also in like-new condition). Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this rental to anyone looking for the perfect north-woods lake vacation.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
