Multi million dollar condo (2600 sqft plus 800 square feet of terrace) recently custom decorated with top flight furnishings. Oriental carpets and lots of contemporary art. This unit is used by Arizona residents and is not always available and is in pristine condition.
The views are spectacular and guests comment that they are mesmerized by all there is to see from the terrace which is approximately 800 square feet and feels like you are on top of the world. You watch the ships sail into the harbor and the planes land at the airport. You can see Tijuana and the islands off the coast of Mexico on a clear day. The downtown lights sparkle and shimmer. The fog rolling in off the coast also provides a nice change. All of Balboa park is off to the east and provides a large green belt. To the north you can see La Jolla mountain.
The neighborhood is twenty some blocks north of downtown and is primarily residential. There are restaurants in the neighborhood and there is a coffee/wine/tea bar on the ground floor of the building. Hillcrest is just 8 blocks north and provides an extensive dining choice of just about any ethnic option and combination. Some of these are noted as some of San Diegos most creative and popular. There is also extensive night life as well.

Location Location Location..... Very easy access to most all areas. You can be on the Cornado Beach in 20 minutes and the gaslamp in 5 minutes. You can Park your car and utilize Balboa Park and all the eating places in Hillcrest.

Over the past 2 years, we have chosen to stay (when available) in this stunningly appointed, super comfortable, spacious bankers hill penthouse with a jaw dropping panoramic vista of the San Diego Harbour, Pt Loma, downtown, and beyond. While we are well aware of other options, having comparison shopped extensively, we have found this to be the best overall value when considering amenities, location, and layout. This home offers a great deal of flexibility as well given the separation of bedrooms from one another, amount of indoor and outdoor space, and its ability to accommodate friends, family members, and extremely functional space even for an occasional business meeting. Linens and towels as well as kitchenware are ample and very high quality. The caretakers overseeing the property have been extremely responsive to the rare questions that have arisen during our stay. We feel fortunate to be able to visit San Diego and stay there. That is why we have returned time and again!

My wife, daughter (2 year old), and in-laws rented this condo over the Labor Day Weekend and Week. The condo was very spacious and had a great layout. We felt like we were back home with all the great amenities. The location was perfect for us with a park right next door and great restaurants all within walking distance. They even had a Whole Foods market a few blocks down. We will definitely rent this unit again for our next trip to SD.
