  Outstanding property. Really impressive. Everything is in place and in perfect working order. Decor is superb. Luxurious. Views from the apartment are so nice that they are hard to describe. Owner and property manager very helpful and acommodating. Location also a plus. Pictures shown on website truly reflect on the property. Give yourself and your party a treat. You will not be dissapointed. Will rent it again in the blink of an eye.

  We have rented many VRBO homes and in particular we love to visit San Diego. On this trip, rather than staying in LaJolla, we decided to try a place close to Balboa Park. We were looking for an upscale city experience, but also we wanted to be close to the park. Simply put, you will be overwhelmed with the views from this handsomely decorated penthouse. Do not look any farther, and do not fret over the cost. You will not be disappointed. This very special home is a combination of an "eagle's nest" crossed with the best of an Architectural Digest spread. You will not be able to decide whether you enjoy the daytime views more than the nighttime views. While you will have spectacular perspectives on planes landing, you will not hear the noise. At night, sitting out on one of three balconies, you will see what looks like diamonds spewn on black velvet. The city and harbor lights twinkle all nigt long and then you can marvel at the planes seeming threading the needle through the city's skyscrapers!. If you love to cook and entertain, this is the place to rent. We cooked three feasts for up to 10 guests for dinner, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware you will need. There are three bedrooms and baths, and while we used only two of the bedrooms, easily this abode would be comfortable with six guests. This place has incredible lighting schemes and in particular over the generous size round dining table there is specially lit dome. It is very dramatic at night time. During the day and evening when you cook, open the kitchen's door which is a small balcony overlooking the park. You will catch wonderful breezes and enjoy the venue while you cook. One activity that we did which we highly recommend is with Art Uncorked. Check out their calendar on-line and find an event during your stay. Basicallly this is a group painting class which is in one of several great wine bars in the city. So much fun! Enjoy this fantastic penthouse...splurge and we guarantee that you won't regret it!

  From our first contact with Steve, it was evident that we were dealing with an owner who would take every step necessary to make our experience effortless and absolutely pleasurable. The Penthouse is SPECTACULAR and far exceeded our wildest expectations. The owner has gone out of his way to create a home with the unique ability to make guests feel like family and where every detail and need has been thought of and attended to. The penthouse is warm and welcoming yet unpretentious. It naturally envelops you in a tranquility that transforms the routines of daily living into renewed energy from the moment you step through the front door and are welcomed by upscale decor, comfortable surroundings and endless views of downtown San Diego and beyond. The location of the property was absolutely perfect. It was so close to everything that we just parked our car in the secure garage of the community and walked to some of the BEST sites and restaurants in the area...Balboa Park, Cucina Urbana, the Prado, Hash House a Go Go, the Tractor Room, etc, etc, etc. We have been vacation home renters for over 18 years, and Steve's attention to detail was like nothing we have experienced in other properties. We are looking forward to future stays at this beautiful penthouse and highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a truly special and unforgettable experience.

  What can I say? My family and I have visited San Diego many times over the past several years. We we were looking for something a little different from what we were used to. Prior to booking a two week vacation rental, sight unseen, one might second guess themselves in regard to forwarding a large sum of money to a "stranger" based only on a handful of photos along with a description from a website you so happened to stumble across. I have to say that from my initial email inquiry to actually speaking with the owner, being greeted by the property manager, the property itself with all it's furnishings to all the many wonderful activities, attractions and restaurants, this experience was nothing less than AWESOME! It felt like home. It was very spacious and comfortable. Our only suggestions would be to have darker curtains/blinds on all the bedroom windows and perhaps an extra television. Other than that, our family enjoyed a very relaxing and wonderful vacation. Thank you. Looking forward to stay here again in the future.

  Over the past 2 years, we have chosen to stay (when available) in this stunningly appointed, super comfortable, spacious bankers hill penthouse with a jaw dropping panoramic vista of the San Diego Harbour, Pt Loma, downtown, and beyond. While we are well aware of other options, having comparison shopped extensively, we have found this to be the best overall value when considering amenities, location, and layout. This home offers a great deal of flexibility as well given the separation of bedrooms from one another, amount of indoor and outdoor space, and its ability to accommodate friends, family members, and extremely functional space even for an occasional business meeting. Linens and towels as well as kitchenware are ample and very high quality. The caretakers overseeing the property have been extremely responsive to the rare questions that have arisen during our stay. We feel fortunate to be able to visit San Diego and stay there. That is why we have returned time and again!

  My wife, daughter (2 year old), and in-laws rented this condo over the Labor Day Weekend and Week. The condo was very spacious and had a great layout. We felt like we were back home with all the great amenities. The location was perfect for us with a park right next door and great restaurants all within walking distance. They even had a Whole Foods market a few blocks down. We will definitely rent this unit again for our next trip to SD.
