Enjoy all the comforts of home in this family friendly home with everything from a cozy fireplace to multiple flat screen TV's. Everything is newly decorated with all new furniture throughout. Beautiful botanical prints line the kitchen walls, the living room is what Domino magazine would call beach-chic with dove grey linen couches, John Robshaw throw pillows and sisal rugs. The colors throughout the house are soft and neutral.
All new shaker style doors, colonial moldings and hardwood floors throughout provide a fresh, updated feel. Located on a private cul-de-sac within easy walking distance to the village of Westhampton Beach, our house has 4 very comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a half finished basement perfect for kids, nanny or housekeeper. Sliding glass doors lead from the eat-in kitchen to a large stone patio and private yard.
The outside space offers dining furniture and loungers, charcoal grill and a private outdoor shower. Back inside, the bedrooms are oversized and provide flexibility for a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit adults and children. The master bedroom above the garage is accessed by a separate stair off the kitchen and has it’s own bathroom as well as internet and cable access. There are 2 oversized bedrooms to the right and left of the front stairs which share a bathroom with a tub. There is also a first floor bedroom with a full sized bed and private bath with washer/dryer. The kitchen is period, but in perfect condition and has a new dishwasher and fridge, large center island with bar stools and a desk. The sink faces the yard making it easy to prep meals while keeping an eye on young children playing in the fenced back yard (with two magnetic locking gates). Beach access is available for town of Southampton beaches or Rodgers beach in Westhampton. Rodgers beach is just a 5 min. bike ride or you can drive and park just over the bridge.
There is so much within walking distance of the house: Baby Moon (serving up delicious family style Italian daily), a farmers market, 2 wine shops, a coffee shop and cinema, Cor-J’s fish store and all the wonderful shops and restaurants that line Main street in the village of Westhampton. In the immediate area, you can also kayak, fish, or go boating. Riverhead offers a top rated Aquarium, a Water park and an outlet mall with over 100 stores including Ralph Lauren and Off Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as Williams Sonoma Home and Pottery Barn outlets.
