Beautiful Remodeled Condo In Perfect Location!!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautifully remodeled condo at Northstar. It is truly a ski in/ski out as it is the closest Ski Trails Condo to the Village Ski run. Walk down one set of stairs, put the skis on and you are at the Gondola within seconds. Easy ski in at the end of the day! Our boys loved being able to sled on the ski trail after the lifts closed and it was a 2 minute walk down to the Village for apres ski entertainment. The condo was perfect! Beautiful kitchen with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. Lots of built in storage to keep everything neat while visiting. The beds were cozy and bathrooms were beautifully updated. Two other families in our travel party rented Ski Trails condos from the resort and ours was far and away better quality. We loved it and hope to be back next year!

Our family of five stayed here for 5 days - and everything was just perfect! The condo itself is beautiful and it is clear that the owners take great pride in this property. The location couldn've been any better - ski in and out, walk to the village in 2 minutes, easy to access ... the kids loved watching the early morning activity on the slopes as they prepared for the skiers. Kathy went above and beyond to answer any questions that we had in preparation for the trip and made the condo itself so inviting and friendly. This was our first trip to Northstar and we were so impressed. It is truly a family resort and all of the Northstar employees (on the mountain or in the village) were the super friendly and totally customer centered. It will be hard to wait a full year until we come back!

Our family of 5 stayed 4 nights at the Condo and found it to be exactly as decribed on the website and by reviewers. The Condo isn't massive, but the space has been well utilised so we fit no problem. The ski in ski out location was fantastic, and despite the lack of snow we still had a great time. Located a very short walk to the village and an even shorter ski to the Gondola. Would defintiely recommend to any family looking for this sort of accommodation, and we would have no hesitation going back. Kathy is very hospitable and eager to help make your stay enjoyable.

Gorgeous Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved staying at this condo! The location is unbeatable! If you are visiting during ski season there is no better location than this condo. We stayed for a week in September, and were close to hiking trails and biking trails. The Truckee river is close by and beautiful Lake Tahoe is also a short car ride away. We were able to kayak on the lake, take numerous 'kid friendly' hikes and bike rides both along the river and near the lake. The Village at Northstar with all the shops and restaurants is just a few minutes walk away. The condo itself is absolutely gorgeous! It is cozy and rustic and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are large and fully upgraded. The entryway with the big 'cubby' dresser, long bench, and coat hooks was beyond helpful in keeping all our things dry and organized...it made getting out of the house in the morning a breeze and getting home with tons of gear painless and messless. The view from the window is sooooooo fun! We watched mountain bikers fly down the hill and watching skiers and snowboarders would be amazing as well. Definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed in Lake Tahoe/Truckee. We can't wait to stay here again!

What you see is what you get -- Beautiful! Gorgeous condo has been tastefully remodeled and decorated. Thought and foresight was put into many details giving an end result of fantastic. Great location gives easy access to the Village and Swimming Pool. The kids loved the personal touch of having their names on the baskets upon arrival. Kathy made the process of renting smooth and easy. We will definitely be back.

This condo is exactly as shown in the pictures. It's clean, updated and has everything you would need. Even the towels are white and perfectly clean. We were super happy with our stay here. Kathy was very easy to work with. The walk to the village or pool/rec center is less than 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us!

Comfy cabin in great Northstar location!

This is a great and comfy condo located within walking distance of the Northstar Village. Perfect for a family of four. We enjoyed strolling to the village in the evenings for dinner and dessert. Especially loved the pizza at Rubicon! While at Northstar our family also enjoyed mountain biking, golf, and of course time at Lake Tahoe jet skiing and paddle boarding, which is just a short drive from the condo. Kathy was great and easy to work with. She helped get our reservation set up with very short notice on our behalf. We would absolutely recommend this property to friends and relatives.

The Dexter's lovely Ski Trails condo served our every need. Furniture is comfortable and attractive, towels and bedding are plush, kitchen appliances/gadgets and dishes are plentiful and new. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed our week-long vacation very much.

Kathy, we had a great time last weekend at your place. The location was perfect. The ski-in/ski-out ability made it really great for our young children. I'm usually exhausted by the time we are on the slope, but this was super easy and allowed us to come and go as needed. You guys did an awesome job on the remodel. This was a wonderful condo for a family of 4. The decor and attention to details was amazingly high-end. It had all of the conviences that one could ask for plus more. My husband had to conduct some business during our trip - everything was there that he needed: high-speed internet, copy & fax machine. We loved the convience of the ski in-out ability and the 5 minute walk to the Village. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This is a place for those that enjoy and respect quality. It is obvious that the owners have put their personal touches into the decor and ambiance in their vacation home. We enjoyed the close proximity to the village & the ski in, ski out abilty. We will definitely be back! This place is a spectacular unit! The remodel is actually better than the Village condo's in my opinion. The owner Kathy Dexter was so helpful, and considerate as well. It is very cozy and extremely convienent to be so close to the Village for fun/dinner. We came back to the condo each day for lunch, because we could just ski in and out. We knew we had friends at Northstar the same weekend, and low and behold...we opened up the blinds the first morning and there they were skiing down the run! It was really awesome to talk to them through the window :) The folks passing by on the lift are all very nice too... they all wave as they go by..haha! Very fun and relaxing place, and I will be back. Thank you Kathy!

This condo is PERFECT, right on the village run, easy on and off the slopes. Perfect especially when you have kids - no driving or loading all up on a shuttle bus. And, the condo has all you need to be right at home, not a hotel or ski crash pad experience. When you have so few weekends to ski, and you get to Northstar, it's wonderful all is perfect when you arrive. The owner is very friendly, responsive and flexible if possible. We'll definitely be back.
