Our log sided cabin is new and is located just 2.5 miles from downtown Boone and Appalachian State College campus. Great access, at an altitude of 4600 ft. You will find beautiful views all around. The big front yard is gently sloped and offers lots of room for play. Across the road you will find the community pond with lots of fish to enjoy. Wooded areas on the side and back of the cabin are great for hiking and exploring.
The kitchen is very well equipped and open to the living room.
The 5 person hot tub on the secluded back deck provides a great escape for relaxing. Also available on the back deck is a BBQ gas grill.
The living room has a 47" flat screen HD lcd TV with cable tv with 4 premium movie stations,& dvd player. All three bedrooms offer 20"TVs with DVD/VCR and cable. Upstairs in the loft is a foosball table and an air hockey table. The large front porch offers rocking chairs for you to relax while enjoying the views or watching the children play.
This is a non smoking cabin which does provide for smoking outside.

Why the Owner Chose Boone
my sister and her husband bought a cabin in Boone for all of us to share family holidays and for them to escape the humid south carolina summer heat. we visited for the first time and fell in love with the charming town of Boone and the surrounding areas. we go as often as we can and hope to be able to more and more.
The Unique Benefits of this House
the setting of our cabin is ideal for spending lots of peaceful time rocking on the front porch. the pond across the street provides lots of family time spent feeding the fish, skipping stones and enjoying nature. the view up on the hill at fire tower is just awesome and can be driven to or hiked to. you can also hike out behind our cabin and catch a great view of downtown Boone and the App. state campus. And so close to the city and area attractions.
