This Casa was the get-away house for the owners who live 5 hours away in Chapala, Jalisco. It is comfortable, functional, and has a very special ambiance that appreciates the design and decorating talents that Barbi Henderson adds to all her design projects. When you walk in the front door, you will feel that you are walking into someone's private home. From furnishings to appliances and utensils, everything you need to enjoy your stay in San Miguel (the magic city) is provided for your use.
A living room with gas log fireplace, half bath, den/dining room and fully equipped kitchen are on the first floor with a modest, secure back yard with vine covered terrace, avocado trees, fireplace/barbecue and sitting area. The second floor has two bedrooms each with wood burning fireplace and full bath. A small sitting/TV room as well as a desk and high-speed internet access is located between the two bedrooms.
A single car garage (for a compact car) is also available.
Caza Trezora is a jewel and ready for occupancy.

MEET THE OWNERS
The owners of "Caza Tresora" are Barbi and Dick Henderson residing at Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, the municipality of the Lake Chapala Riviera, since 1980. Barbi is originally from New Rochelle, New York, studied commercial art and design at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida as well as La Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Dick is a native Californian who resided in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the owner of a building materials distribution company serving the marina construction industry for 20 plus years.
The Hendersons first venture in Mexico was to purchase a classic but totally neglected Luis Barragan villa in downtown Chapala. They lovingly restored and expanded the property into one of Mexico’s finest, romantic, small inns, Quinta Quetzalcoatl (The Inn of the Plumed Serpent). As resident owner/operators, the Henderson’s worked at this venture until they sold it in 2003. During those 23 years, Barbi also built or rebuilt homes and casitas in the “lakeside” area in her own signature style that today is referred to as a “Barbi house”.
Free from the time and financial confines of being Innkeepers, they expanded their real estate ventures to Puerto Vallarta, Guananto and San Miguel de Allende. Normally the finished projects were sold when completed but Villa Tresora in San Miguel was an exception to the rule and became their "getaway" to one of their favorite cities.. Today the visits to San Miguel become fewer and shorter therefore the house is now a special rental property to special guests.
