You will love this Lake of the Ozarks cottage. We now have six full years of seasonal rentals under our belt. This cottage is perfect for vacationers.
The four-tier deck overlooking Oppossum Cove on Lake of the Ozarks is approximately 800 square feet. The first tier is under an awning so can be enjoyed even when it's raining. The second tier has a large 8 person picnic table and charcoal grill. The third tier has a hammock and the fourth tier nearest to and over hanging the lake is excellent for fishing. The view is awesome since the cottage is located just inside a smaller cove for calm water swimming, skiing, and recreation with a great lake view. There is ample parking for as many as six cars right next to the lake house.
If you are familiar with the Lake of the Ozarks area, you know how hilly it is. This lake house rental allows for very easy access from your car. The front door is just a few feet away and only 3 steps to climb. In addition to that, getting to the lake or dock from the cottage is also no problem. There are only a few steps down to the lake where there is a floating single slip covered dock.
(WE CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO FIND A LAKE HOUSE WITH A FAIRLY LEVEL LOT HERE IN THE OZARKS!) The dock has a swim platform with a ladder and will fit a 20 foot boat. (Larger if you don't mind if your boat protrudes beyond the cover of the dock roof. If your boat is longer you can still dock it. This cottage also has a fire pit on a level area right next to the lake shore.
The cottage has 1,100 square feet of living space. This lake house rental boasts a large kitchen that is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc along with all the appliances you will need for your vacation. There is also a full-size stackable washer and dryer in this lake house vacation rental. All new flooring through out the cottage was done in 2008.
This lake house rental has two TVs with cable service along with a DVD player. The living room TV has a 42" screen. (The picture shows a smaller TV that has since been replaced.) The master bedroom has a small TV and a queen size bed, the second bedroom also has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed so sleeps two people. Lastly, the living room has a couch that has a queen size fold out bed.
Lake of the Ozarks is a very popular tourist area with plenty of shopping within a 20 minute drive. There is a very large mall in Osage Beach with 110 factory outlet type stores. Osage Beach also has plenty of restaurants including popular chain restaurants such as Applebee's, Outback Steak House, Panera Bread, Chili's, and Bandana's among others...
But, be sure to check out the local restaurants that offer some very good food as well as breath taking views. Michael's Steak Chalet is one of our favorites. Great food and a terrific view of the main channel of the lake from high on a bluff.
You'll find many restaurant/bars along the lakeshore by boat too. There are also places nearby that have boat rentals and personal watercraft rentals. You'll find many go-cart tracks and other activities for the family including the historic Bagnell Dam area.
We will see to it that you have a wonderful time here at the Lake of the Ozarks. We live only 10 minutes away by land and five minutes by water from this cottage. If there is anything that needs to be addressed, we will do everything in our power to accommodate you to ensure you have a great experience at our lake house!

THIS LAKE HOUSE WILL NOT BE RENTED TO GROUPS UNDER THE AGE OF 25. (NO BACHELOR / BACHELORETTE PARTIES, SENIOR TRIPS ETC.)
Please note: In the event of cancellation the half-rent payment(described below) to reserve the cottage for a specific time period is not refundable unless we are able to rent the cancelled time period to someone else. The second-half rent payment that is due two weeks prior to the scheduled vacation time period is not refundable. The damage deposit will be returned immediately upon cancellation.

3 Night Stays Welcome (Except for July) .. $150/night $1,050 / week
Off Peak Rental Season: Oct-Apr ......... $100/night .. $700/week
Full week booking = 1 day free during off peak season. $75 cleaning fee.
Refundable $500 damage deposit required 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Half of the rent to be paid when reservation for lake house rental is made.
The balance of the rent, damage deposit, cleaning fee due 2 weeks before arrival.

I would recommend this house to anyone. We are a large family and we had plenty of room. House was exactly as it was shown on the pictures. Owners are very easy to work with and provided timely and accurate information regarding the property. I would recommend this to anyone!

Owners easy to work with, quick to respond and honest. Property was kept in great shape. Location is in a quiet cove with a large back yard, deck and great fire pit. Big dock. Nice neighbors. Can't recommend it enough.

Renting this home was our first trip to the Ozarks and we were very happy with all the accommodations! The house was fully equipped with all the basic essentials in every room and then some....mini bottles of shampoo and conditioner and lotion was a nice touch! The deck attached to the house is set up for a evening outside entertaining and the dock has plenty of room for the kids jumping into the water and mom sunbathing while the man of the house is trying to fish on the other side!! The neighbors on each side were very welcoming and helpful....especially when it came to navigating the waterways on our rented boat!!! It was a cute touch to the lake when on our first night there we heard the sound of an ice cream truck....except it was a boat, the kids loved it and the adults thought it was a very clever idea!!! I would return in a minute and would recommend this property to everyone!!!!
