Walk the private beach in search of shark’s teeth and many shells, or lounge at the heated swimming pool on Lemon Bay across the street. Private fishing pier and docking facilities available on site. Restaurants and music are just a short walk away at several restaurants in front of Englewood Beach. Manasota Key, a tranquil piece of paradise for the discriminating vacationer.

Charter boat fishing, Jet Ski and kayak rentals available as you come onto Manasota Key. If you’re lucky you can generally spot dolphins below the drawbridge. Bring your bicycle and enjoy a quiet ride up Manasota Key through Sarasota County on scenic Canopy Road covered with Banyan trees, Live Oak trees and Bougainvillea vines. Stump Pass Park is at the south end of the key for plenty of shelling. Explore ‘Olde Englewood Village’ with its art galleries, antique shops, Community Theater, restaurants, tennis courts and Indian Mounds Park. Pamper yourself at one of three area spas. The first Saturday of the month is The Englewood Village Walk with outdoor bands and many shops staying open late offering FREE drinks and hors o'dourves. Cedar Point Park offers guided walking tours on the weekends. Bird lovers will enjoy a view of the Eagle’s nest while at the park.
Venice is just 25 minutes away with golf courses, dining, shopping, parasailing and fishing off Venice Pier. Discover Historic Venice. Explore its quaint downtown shops and restaurants and marvel at the boulevard of Spanish moss-draped Banyan trees.
Sarasota is only 25 miles away, home of the Mote Aquarium, Selby Gardens, Ringling Museum, Jungle Gardens, several professional theatres, and art galleries. On the way visit Oscar Scherer State Park, Historic Spanish Point or take a bicycle ride down the recently opened Legacy Trail.
