We had such a great time staying at the cabin. The cabin fits the cliche, "cute and cozy" to a T. The listing photos did accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. There was plenty of room for nine adults and we all managed to sleep comfortably in separate bedrooms. The location was superb; walking distance to restaurants, stores, and casinos. There were also some fun games, a mini arcade, and foosball. Some recommendations I would give would be to provide more towels, a full length mirror, and possibly a BBQ for grilling outside.

Owner response:We do have a gas BBQ but the management team usually puts it in for the winter because of the snow (of course this winter there isn't a lot of snow to be concerned about yet.) Thank you for the wonderful review.

What a wonderful cozy cabin! My family and I rented the cabin for several days and everyone was pleased -- including our picky 16 year old. Emily and Kristi were great to work with and truly have everything you would need at the cabin -- including a great DVD selection. We also brought our dog and the backyard is just perfect. It has a fence so there is no problem letting him out -- he just loves squirls and they have plenty in their yard. We would certainly rent this cabin again and you should too!!

Our Annual Family Trip

My family of 12 absolutely loved your cabin. We traditionally go camping on our annual family trip, but for this year we decided that we all wanted comfy beds. Besides hitching a tent was getting old. Your cabin had all the kitchen amenities that we could have possibly needed. We were even surprised that there was a rice cooker!! Us Asian folks always have to have a rice cooker when traveling. We appreciated that you had all the baking pans, cooking & eating utensils, pots & pans, mixing bowls, glasses, plates, cereal bowls, mugs, and most importantly a coffee maker! We used them all !!! We even used the propane bbq grill outside. We loved the two bathrooms! It made it easier for my family to shower without having to fight for shower time. We appreciated the warm water and hefty water-pressure. It was nice after a long day at the lake. We loved that you had more than enough towels for everyone. Nice and clean!!! We loved the bedrooms. The large bedrooms were big enough for parents and kid(s). The smaller bedrooms were big enough for the child-less couples. The beds were large and comfortable. Nice touch on the heated blankets. Though we didn't use it, I imagine the heated blankets would be a god-send during winter. We love the overall layout of the house. The living room was large and comfy. Enough seating for everyone. We mostly played board games on the floor and on the kitchen table. The kids loved - absolutely loved - the foosball table! Speaking of games, the kids had a ball with the arcade game, the playstation, cards, board games, and even the putting green in the backyard. Our only regret is that we didn't bring the family dog - he would have loved the large backyard. I'd recommend this cabin to my friends and family. Fits exactly 12 max. Any larger group would be a zoo and be a very tight fit. The cabin is only 1/4 mile walk from a Safeway and the Aloha Ice Cream parlor. Suggestions: 1)Though we loved that every room has a tv, a bigger tv in the living room would have been nice. Plus the remote control for the DVD in the living room is broken so it took us a while to manuever the dvd player to play movies. 2)Additional lighting in the dining room would be great. It was really dark even for eating. Thank you Emily and Kristen for a wonderful cabin. We will most definitely be using your cabin again for our future Tahoe trips!

Great Get-away Cabin

We had a great time staying in this cabin! It is so close to many destinations, but is far enough away from the casinos to really feel the tranquility of the lake! There were 8 adults that stayed here. I would say that was about maximum on the adult side. It would have been really crowded if we had any others. The house really did have everything we needed. Most of the games there were meant for kids, so we played a lot of poker! Thanks again for a fabulous trip! Emily and Kristen were wonderful about getting back to us on anything we needed! Great hospitality!

Cozy, Warm, and Spacious!

Six of us stayed in this cozy cabin for a holiday stay between Christmas and New Years Eve. The home is much larger than it looks in the photos and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and comfortable, felt just like home! The owners are very friendly and responsive. Great location! A couple minutes walk to the lake and right near shopping and resturaunts. Cozy cabin in a very quiet neighborhood. Upstairs is a bit of a tight fit. Washer/dryer doesn't wash very much at a time, but those were the only negatives of our stay. My kids loved the arcade game in the upstairs room. We had a great time and enjoyed our vacation!

This vacation home had excelled all our expectations. We were impressed by the kitchen amenities and the number of games stocked up for kids. This home has 4 great bedrooms as well. All the points of interst in Lake Tahoe are near by. Safeway and all other shops are walking distance from this home. We will definetely come back to this home year after year. I will also recommend this home to any family/4 families visiting and staying in Lake Tahoe.

Charming cabin in a quite little neighborhood. Family and the dogs had a blast, we were able to build a snowman in the backyard in April!We only needed to use the downstairs, but explored upstairs and there is plenty of room for more than the 3 of us...Had a few issues with the wireless until I figured out the encryption key was on the DSL modem...

I have stayed at this cabin in Tahoe for the past 3 years in a row and it has become a traditional that my friends and I REALLY look forward to every year. We can't wait until next year's trip!! We LOVE this fun, cozy cabin and would recommend it to anyone. The only thing missing in my books is a hot tub but that would be the cherry on top!! Great comfortable place, I would recommend additional seating in the living room. Only seating for 6 people, where it would be good to have another sofa. Other than that it was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked.

Really enjoyed staying here! Very cozy and had more than I can even get to like video games, PSP, lots of games, etc. Fully stocked but missing things like cutting board. I will definitely come back! The only part which did not feel like a vacation was the pressure to put everything back in it's place risk being charged. I understand why it's done though.

We stayed at the cabin for two nights. We had a splendid time. Kids had tons of fun with all the games and foosball table! The condition of the house was excellent and everything was in very neat ordery manner. Emily and Kristi were very responsive throughout the reservation process. They went above and beyond to help us to get our misplaced car keys back which we left at the cabin at a record time. We really enjoyed the hospitality they provided and recommend the house to anyone coming to South Lake Tahoe area for visiting.

Once again an incredibly beautiful and relaxing stay at your cozy, clean cabin. I loved sitting by the fireplace watching the snow fall on Saturday and getting bathed by the morning sun on Monday! Sledding at the locals spot behind the fire dept was a blast...and so close by too! And for some reason I never mind eating in when we can all hang in the kitchen, cooking and chatting it up with such beauty right outside the kitchen window! I will definitely keep coming back. The owners were very helpful and informative. The whole process was easy. Cabin is cute and cozy in a very quiet neighborhood. 4bdrm and the two dining areas allows for lots of guests (we only had 4 adults and 2 kids, so there was plenty of room). The cabin was fairly well stocked - washer/dryer, child safety gates, highchairs, and brooms (but no dustpans!). Some areas to improve on: plumbing in the upstairs bathtub was slow running; living room area was very dim and could use some brighter lighting (tried to do one of the jigsaw puzzles, but it was too dark in the living room); lots of cobwebs right under the fireplace mantel; could have provided one more roll of paper towels or napkins; We had a wonderful time in your cabin and would consider staying here again! Thank you so much!

My family and I enjoyed your cabin very much. We often come to Lake Tahoe during the summer because I love the beauty of the town and natural look. During our stay we went bike riding, walked to the lake, went kayaking & of course visited the casinos. Now that we see how convenient it is to rent a cabin vs. a hotel room, going forward we will be renting a cabin and hopefully this one is available when we need it. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfy cabin. Excellent location for esploring on foot or driving to hikes or casinos. Love the peace & quiet of this quaint neighborhood. April 24 - We woke up to a picture perfect snow fall, that drifted softly away. April 25 - We enjoued another morning of snow fall but this time it remained and we were able to take pictures in the snow. We will be leaving Monday morning and will remember the snow, time shares with family and the cozy little cabin. Sorry for the delay. We had the best time - your cabin is great and so homey and comfortable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. We had great family time in the spacious living room, had puzzles going, bike rides, walks, and fun every day! The location is perfect - we hope to have an opportunity to stay there again. We had one comment/recommendation for you - regarding small pets. We were on a walk our first day and fortunately one of the neighbors "warned" us about the coyotes. Apparently, someone had a small dog snatched off a leash by a coyote. We actually saw a coyote that evening, and the next day one walked down the street in broad daylight in front of the kitchen window. We did not let the dogs out except on leash, even in the back yard as it did give us a scare. You may want to tell future renters about the coyotes. Hi Emily & Kristi - The whole experience was wonderful! My only suggestion would be to leave instructions on how things like the heating work (we figured it out, but weren't sure how high we should put it). Also, the oven pilot wasn't lit - weren't sure how to fix it w/o bothering you. Thanks for a great stay!!
