This beautiful Pier area rental is only 200 yards from the beach and pier.
A fabulous ground floor unit with a bright and sunny, full kitchen, a cozy dining area, a spacious living room, a small patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee, and a bedroom with brand new queen bed. The living room has a king size convertible couch bed. It is a state of the art pull-out system that is almost as comfortable as a regular bed mattress. This beautiful 1 bedroom vacation rental has been completely remodeled and updated with an all NEW furniture,a remodeled bathroom, new tile and carpet, and ceiling fans in every room.
Included for your enjoyment is a flat screen television, a DVD player, cable connection and secure wireless internet access. We’re pleased to provide beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, an ice chest, a wagon and boogie boards. It also comes with its own washer and dryer, and a barbecue is included for outdoor cooking and dining. This unit also comes with a 1 car garage and additional off street parking in front of the garage.
The area surrounding the pier has a small market, a few family owned restaurants, a coffee shop, frozen yogurt shop and the famous Fisherman’s Restaurant on the pier. The quaint down town area of San Clemente, Del Mar, is only a few walking blocks away. There are many wonderful restaurants, stylish boutiques, antique shops, surf shops as well as coffee and tea houses. There is also a great farmers market every Sunday on Del Mar until noon.

My husband and I just got home from vacationing in San Clemente. It was the most relaxing vacation we have spent in a long time. The condo had all the amenities of home, but the best part was it's location. Just a few steps from the condo was this amazing view of the ocean and pier. Walking distance to everything, only thing is, you had better be in good shape because the street inclines were crazy. We enjoyed the sunny morning breakfast at the Beach front cafe and Cassano's pizza was the BEST. We enjoyed the Fisherman's restaurant on the pier. There are so many restaurants and shops, it's impossible to name them all. You will just have to visit and find out for yourself! We will be visiting again and staying at this very same location. We loved it!!!

Nice, clean place for two adults - family with 1-2 small kids would do OK. Just like in the pictures - nicely decorated and furnished inside and out with a well-appointed kitchen and washer/dryer. No ocean view, but price, location and off-street garage parking are huge pluses. San Clemente is close enough to the LA/Orange County and San Diego metro areas to get to any of them easily, but unique and far enough away to feel like you're out of the big city. Unit is very close to pier and beach with restaurants and convenience market. Beach, pier and downtown San Clemente are within walkable distance, but be ready for steep hills. In downtown, check out the Sunday farmers' market and Billy's Meats, Seafood & Deli on Ave. Del Mar. Walk to upscale/tourist dining and bars on Ave. Del Mar and short drive to casual/local dining and bars on El Camino Real. Easy drive to groceries (Ralph's - 1 mile; Trader Joe's - 4 miles) and other nearby beaches (San Clemente/Calafia State Beach - 2 miles; San Onofre State Beach/Trestles - 4 miles; Dana Point/Doheny State Beach - 8 miles). If you want to get south to San Diego or north to downtown LA and Santa Barbara without driving, there are lots of trains each day in both directions - San Juan Capistrano has the most options for Amtrak and LA "Metrolink" commuter trains, but there are also train stations at San Clemente Pier (Amtrak - limited weekend service), and in San Clemente (Amtrak and Metrolink) and Oceanside (Amtrak and San Diego "Coaster" commuter train). Fares on the Metrolink and Coaster commuter trains are significantly less than Amtrak. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the unit and management company to others.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days over spring break. Lovely! What beautiful decorating and nice furnishings (including linens)! Quality. The unit is very close to downtown AND the pier. We enjoyed both. Thanks for such a relaxing vacation. The balcony with lounge chairs, table, chairs and umbrella was also enjoyed. :-) The unit is well-stocked! Don't miss the Rainbow sandal factory outlet, La Rocca's (pizza), The Fisherman's (on the pier) Sunday morning's farmer's market on Del Mar and in the spring, the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. And enjoy a sunny, morning's breakfast at a restaurant across from street from the pier. Friendly and great service.

My husband, son, and I were looking for a little getaway for our son's Spring Break. We usually stay in a hotel in San Clemente but decided to look into home this time. The owners were very flexible with our schedule and the home was exactly what we had seen in the pictures. We were able to walk everywhere-the beach, downtown, dinner, etc... It was fantastic. We made good use of the kitchen which was stocked with everything you could need to cook any meal of the day. We left feeling like we had had a TRUE vacation and can't wait to visit again!! My only suggestion to future guests is to try and bring a small vehicle. We have a 4 door truck and it was a VERY tight squeeze in the driveway and garage!!

We have stayed at this lovely one-bedroom plus fold-out King in the living room two times and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Looks just like the photos. The house is immaculate and well appointed, the neighbors are quiet, location is superb—2 blocks to the ocean, famous pier, restaurants, and a 15 minute walk to the center of town, San Clemente. We travel from northern Idaho to visit with one of our daughters who lives in San Clemente and has no desire to return to Idaho. We hope to go back again and again, and would recommend it to anyone. And the owners are savvy and a joy to work with. Owner is Art Den Dulk

If you're reading this review you just found the perfect getaway spot. This 1 bedroom Villa is truly that... a darling space that has everything you'll need for complete comfort & relaxation. We got lucky and booked it for a few days of Spring Break. Feels like a suite at an up scale hotel. Really charming and just a short walk to the beach. Perfect for two. A group of four makes it cozy. It's a jewel of a place, check it out. Looking forward to staying again this Summer. We LOVED it!!! FYI a great place for a hot fresh breakfast/lunch served with a smile *Beach Garden Cafe* with a view of the waves.
