Early 1800's Maine home on Cozy Harbor with a shared dock and float. You are welcome to borrow our 2 kayaks when available.
The dock is tidal but has water around it for most of the tide (8 feet at high tide).Walk to the small Southport Yacht club, beaches, or the general store for ice cream.
The yacht club is a short walk or row across the harbor with an excellent sailing program for kids as well as racing events for all ages.
Boothbay Harbor is a short drive where there are many stores, tour boats, and charter fishing boats.

Great Place to Just Relax!

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in August and September of 2009 and are planning on coming back again in 2010. The house is a classic old Maine home, with lots of antiques and a rustic feel, and it is perched right on Cosy Harbor, with a great view of the sunsets and the resident osprey. The owners are lovely, friendly folks whose families have been in Maine for generations and couldn't be more helpful. The community of Southport is a small, close-knit community that does welcome "summer people" and the Boothbay area's attractions are many and varied. If you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable family getaway place, look no further!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
