The guest house, while fully independent, is located within a larger compound that also consists of the main house and a guest suite.
The guest house, with polished travertine floors throughout, is comfortably furnished in a sleek, contemporary style. There are often fresh flowers or flowering plants, always lots of books, and many CDs. The refrigerator will initially be stocked with juice and milk and the cupboard will have various teas, cocoa, and coffee. Radiant heating in the floors also makes this house perfectly cozy for a fall or winter get-away. The house comes with its own in-house 300 square foot art studio equipped with a large work table and hot and cold running water as well as a computer with high-speed access and wireless capability.
The island has many miles of bike paths, abundant beaches, and fabulous walking trails. The property is a five-minute drive from Lambert's Cove beach and is within easy walking distance of several Landbank trail systems. Our canoe, sunfish, and bicycles are available for your enjoyment.

Just spent a week and loved every minute of it. The cottage is beautiful and well appointed. Minutes away from Lamberts Cove, Vineyard Haven, W. Tisbury Farmers market... Ellen and Edward were gracious hosts. The property surrounding the cottage is wooded, beautiful and private! A wonderful spot for a romantic getaway for 2.
