A splendid 2 roomed apartment with a bright and uncluttered view over the centuries-old and historic Les Halles area.
It is situated on a pedestrian street, surrounded by many charming cafés and restaurants. A few minutes walk away is the well-known market street - the Rue Montorgeuil - a living remnant of the old Halles.
The apartment itself has a large living room with an open-kitchen incorporating every modern convenience (micro-wave and regular oven, ceramic hotplates, smoke-extractor, dishwasher etc.).
There is a roomy bathroom with bathtub and shower. Separate toilet.
Equipped with a modern stereo system (CD and cassette player included), video player and satellite TV. A granite-surround fireplace burns logs seductively - supplementing the adequate electric heating. Modern elegant cupboards conceal an extra comfortable, regular single (Murphy) bed which folds away when not in use.
In the bedroom itself, there is a double bed and a custom-built wardrobe fitted into the wall (with a private safety box). A sumptuous bathroom is just opposite and there is a washer and combined dryer.
There are old, original wooden beamed ceilings in every room.
The building is nearly 3 centuries old and has great character. There is no elevator, so there's a 3 flight walk-up. But the climb is worth it!
