Located within 4 miles of charming downtown Boulder Junction, this modern home offers private, comfortable accommodations on the quiet Class A musky waters of 370 acre Wildcat Lake. Your own twelve acres of beautiful forest abuts thousands of acres of public state forest land; great for hikers, hunters and nature lovers. Our guests also have full access to adjoining grounds and shared facilities including private beach, playground, game room, exercise room, tennis court, hot tub, and free wireless Internet. Boat and motor rentals are also available. What a perfect place for a family summer vacation, spring or fall fishing and hunting trip, or a winter snowmobiling adventure.
The home is very roomy, clean and well maintained. There are four bedrooms (total of four full beds and four twin beds), nicely furnished living and family rooms with wood burning fireplace, spacious kitchen, and two full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing large meals for active vacationers. The balcony offers great views of the lake, and there is a large pier and sundeck for hanging out by the water. Wireless internet is available at the main lodge.
Boulder Junction, known as 'The Musky Capital of the World,' is surrounded by more than 200 lakes and some of the best fishing in the state of Wisconsin. Drive a few miles down the road for a day trip on marvelous 3,800 acre Trout Lake, or try out any of the many other top fishing lakes in the area. Or spend the entire week exploring your own Wildcat Lake, a true jewel with five islands, great scenery and terrific structure for healthy populations of musky, walleye, large and smallmouth bass, and a variety of pan fish. Fall is an especially popular time for hunters, as the property directly abuts thousands of acres state forest holding white tail deer and a variety of bird species such as ruffed grouse.
The area offers a variety of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, and has become one of top biking destinations in the Midwest. There is a terrific horse riding stable just across the road. Boulder Junction also offers some of the best shopping and dining in all the Northwoods, with several local galleries offering original artwork, unique specialty shops and superb gift shops, and has several terrific restaurants.
This home is also a great winter destination for snowmobilers and cross-country skiers. The Boulder Junction area has 130 miles of well-groomed local trails that connect with thousands more miles of trails stretching across northern Wisconsin and up into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The property is situated right off of one of the main trails.

Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend 2010. The house was huge, had all the extra touches and ammenities. Excellent staff and service. Dog friendly- THANK YOU! Best place to go for a large group. Clean lake- nice beach and great fishing. Everything was worth the drive and money for an excellent weekend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
