For a vacation on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, the location of our villa is unbeatable. Less than 20 minutes by car from the international airport in Puerto Plata, our villa resides in the lush area of Vista Del Caribe (near Cabarete), a hillside neighborhood full of dramatic ocean views.
The closest beach is Encuentro Beach, perhaps the best SURFING beach in all of the Caribbean. Between our villa and the beach - less than five minutes on foot - there is nothing except ocean views and open fields full of palm trees and free-roaming horses.
If you decide you want to take a break from the tranquil privacy of our villa and find some action, the town of Cabarete is less than five minutes away by car. If you are not familiar with Cabarete, it is a beach town (with no high rise buildings) full of great entertainment: excellent restaurants on the beach, bars on the beach, dancing on the beach, casinos and shopping. Also, Cabarete is considered one of the best places in the world for kite surfing and windsurfing.
In addition to location, the jewel of our villa is the backyard. Just take a look at the pictures - private pool, jacuzzi, multiple areas for sun tanning, thatched-roof gazebo, tropical landscaping and a charcoal BBQ grill. Anywhere you go in the backyard, you can see and hear the ocean.
The inside of our villa is best described as comfortable, stylish and simple. There is a master bedroom with a king bed and bathroom, a guest bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom, and a sitting room on the second floor with a double bed suitable for a couple. Other amenities include: gated community with 24-hour security, daily attendance by a cleaning lady, parking for two cars, fully functional kitchen, washer/dryer in the house, air conditioning, cable TV, DVD player and broadband internet connection.
