  Our stay at Greg & Christie's getaway was excellent from start to finish! We looked at other options but believe the condo was the best 2-BR VRBO available at Emerald Isle and on the beach for its value. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The condo is located on the 10th floor, high enough not to be distracted by the noise of the pool and it is right off the elevators, which is very convenient. From Greg & Christie's love story, evident by the "heart in the sand" photo that welcomes you at the front door and the guest book that is readily available for sharing your experience, it is apparent that this condo is filled with love and maintained with care. We found it to feel much like home away from home and have already booked for next year! It has been a stressful year for me, and it was a very welcome oasis for us to chill, renew, and celebrate the anniversary of when we met at Pensacola Beach 6 years ago. However; we only started dating 1 year ago and thought it fitting to go back to where we initially met. During our experience, we had an opportunity to communicate with Greg and find that he is responsive, warm, thoughtful, and genuine, and sincerely is concerned about our comfort and input to make our experience more pleasant. It is a pleasure to do business with them. We look forward to many opportunities to enjoy their vacation home. We would highly recommend this unit as a pleasant vacation experience.   We stayed in this condo for a week and couldn't have been more pleased. The condo itself is well appointed and nicely maintained and the Emerald Isle facility is top notch. Having never been to the Pensacola area before, we did what most everyone else does. We scanned the listings, checked out the photos and read the reviews. Even then, you have to cross your fingers and hope for the best. Well, this place WAS the best. At least my family thinks so. We just booked a return trip. Book this condo with confidence.

  We had a fabulous time in Pensacola and at Emerald Isle. The condo is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The owners could not have been more helpful when arranging our stay. They suggested restaurants and sights that helped us organize our days. They even sent coupons for the 360 wheel! There is plenty to do and see while there, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone who loves being on the water and being close to great food and attractions.

  My family and I enjoyed a relaxing stay in your beautiful condo last week. Plenty of space, comfortable furniture, fully appointed kitchen, convenient washer and dryer...and did I mention the view?! On several occasions we saw pods of dolphins swimming which was a real treat for my daughter. She also enjoyed snorkeling and collecting sea shells (I hope we left some for the next renters). My husband liked the flat screen TVs, iPod player and easy beach access. I was pleased with the up-to-date kitchen that wasn't too big but had enough room for two cooks, and the washer and dryer that didn't disturb my daughter's sleep while washing our beach towels. We had great dinners at Grand Marlin and Peg Leg Pete's and cooked our own in the condo with seafood bought at Joe Patti's in Pensacola. We spent our one rainy day at the Pensacola NAS Museum. Hopefully your condo will be available when we plan our next Florida Gulf Coast vacation! Thanks for a great time!

  Our first trip to a Florida beach and we were very happy with our choice. What a beautifully decorated condo! We enjoyed our week stay in your unit with our 2 young children (11y.o. and 5y.o.) We went to see the Blue Angels practice both Tues and Wed morning along with staying for their autographs! The kids LOVED it! We toured the National Naval Air Museum and this was AWESOME..we all loved it! One day we toured Fort Pickens and again, our kids loved the Fort!! After leaving the fort we ate a picnic lunch in the picnic area. The beaches out there were GORGEOUS! One day we went to the Gulf Breeze Zoo; my 5y.o. loved it! We ate at Peg Leg Pete's and were very much disappointed in the food! The next day we ate at McGuires' Irish Pub and we give it 5/5 stars!!!! This was the perfect time to vacation; temps were 80s the whole week and there was a nice cool breeze during the day. The only people down at the pool/beach were young families with their kids who were also out of school for spring break. The kids made friends and they all played with each other :-)) My only negative comment would be that you need to replace the guest bedroom mattresses. They feel like you are sleeping on 2 boxsprings and if you look underneath the bed you will find that the netting to the boxspring is lying on the floor (very poor shape)! We tried the pull out bed from the couch but I preferred sleeping just on the couch. We decided to leave a day early so we could get back to our own beds and get some sleep. Overall, I would stay in your condo again. I feel it probably is the best decorated condo in Emerald Isle!!

We are very sorry that you found the bed in the second bedroom to be uncomfortable. Our intent is for our guests to have a relaxing visit. So that future visits will be more comfortable, we have replaced the mattress and box springs in the second bedroom with a new mattress and box springs. It is our hope that when you return, you will have a more relaxing night's sleep.

  A/C didn't work. Ice maker makes very little ice. There were only 4-5 bath towels total in the place. It was very disappointing when all was said and done.

  Owner response: We appreciate your comments and are very sorry that your stay was not to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit did malfunction and was not able to be repaired over the holiday weekend since the repair company had to special order a part. We were in constant contact with our onsite management company and they advised us that you declined to move to a comparable condo in Emerald Isle for the duration of your stay. At your request, you decided to remain in the unit and receive a partial credit for your stay as well as a discount on a future stay. The air conditioning unit was fixed after the holiday weekend. We have not received any other reports of the ice maker making very little ice; however, the refrigerator has since been replaced as part of our routine updates. We are sorry that you did not have enough bath towels. Unfortunately, you must not have seen the extra linens that are stored in closet of the second bedroom. In total, the unit has 12 complete sets of towels as well as an extra set of linen for all the beds.

  My wife and I stayed at your condo for a week in September. Over the years, we have stayed in several other condos in Emerald Isle and found this one to be the most nicely furnished. In particular, this condo has updated furnishings (e.g., granite countertops, high def flat screen tvs, etc.). We also found the condo to be very clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. We really liked the 10th floor location because it was high enough up that we did not hear noise from the pool but low enough that we had a good view of the beach and ocean from the balcony. We have rented using VRBO a few times and really liked the procedure that you have for VRBO rentals. We paid VRBO prices and could use a credit card but were able to pick up and turn in keys from a rental office that was located right in front of Emerald Isle. Thank you for a great week at the beach!

  I spent a wonderful week at your condo this spring. We've stayed at Emerald Isle several times and your condo was the most beautifully decorated. We bought shrimp at Joe Patti's and enjoyed a romantic dinner in. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view on the balcony was wonderful. We loved the flat screen TVs and will definitely book your unit again.

  Having visited this condo on several occasions, I just had to leave a review. This is a wonderful vacation rental. It is beautifully decorated and easily accomodates six people. The price is very reasonable and the view is unsurpassed. It has a lot of extras that you don't see in most vacation rentals - granite counters, flat screen tv's and lots of closet space. I highly recommend this rental.
