Scottsdale Racquet Club is a gorgeous, well-maintained community. This particular unit is not clean nor is it well-maintained. It is obvious that the owner does not frequent it because of the condition of the condominium. The list would be too long, but starting at the shredded master bed's mattress pad to the chipped, filty walls, it was a difficult month to endure. Linens, fans, room heaters, old blankets, blind slats were thrown in closets. We spent the better part of our first week cleaning and organizing so that we could feel somewhat comforable. During our stay, we met 3 other people who had rented this unit. It is called "The Pit" by those former unhappy tenants. The owner responds occasionally when e-mailed. I continue to get phone calls from the carpet cleaners who are waiting for the balance of the amt. owed them for cleaning the carpets & couches.
Owner response:We just installed new carpet in mid April and it looks fabulous. We are painting our place in a few weeks. We respond immediately to any issues and they are resolved by our handyman or other contractors.
