You'll love our comfortable, well-equipped home with its large great room, lots of windows and full deck. Situated directly on the ocean, we are located on the northeastern half of the island, with a full beach at all tides. We keep a wide path across the dunes so it's an easy walk for young and old alike to a gently sloping, wide beach - just right for children to build sand castles or teens and adults to swim, play games or watch the sea turtles hatching. And for a change of pace, walk down the beach to the "Beach Club" where there is an Olympic-sized swimming pool, restaurant, snack shop, beachfront bar, as well as water sport rentals.
Our home, we call it "Whispering Sands", is just the right spot to enjoy your vacation. It has recently been painted throughout and updated with new furniture, refrigerator, dishwasher, bedding and rugs. The large great room with its cathedral ceiling, expansive windows, and full deck provides the perfect place for relaxing. The four bedrooms and two full baths provide plenty of room for families or couples to share a vacation together. The two king bedrooms have full ocean views, ceiling fans, and sliding glass doors onto the deck. The other two bedrooms each have two twin beds. All bedrooms are well-furnished with dressers, bedside tables and large closets. There's a full washer and dryer and an outside shower is an added convenience when you've just come back from the beach. WiFi INTERNET ACCESS lets you stay connected to work or friends and the 32" LCD HDTV with a full range of cable channels is great for watching sports and playing games. There's a stereo in the great room and the king bedrooms also each have their own TVs.
For the golfers in the family, Fripp Island boasts two excellent golf courses. Ocean Creek Golf Course has won national "top ten" new course design recognition from both Golf Magazine and The Golfer, and is the first signature course designed by Davis Love III. Surrounded by scenic salt marshes, wetlands, and lush foliage, it is both a challenging course for the expert golfer, as well as an enjoyable experience for the more casual player. The movie buff may also recognize scenery from Disney's The Jungle Book and from Forrest Gump, since both of these films were shot on this site.
Ocean Point Golf Links was designed by George W. Cobb and provides golfers with beautiful ocean views and breezes as they play this pleasant but challenging course. Enjoyment of this mature course includes elevated tees and flying fish in the water hazards, as well as views of dolphins playing in the ocean.
With three and one-half miles of Atlantic beach, a balmy year-round climate and a bridge that sets the island apart from crowds and traffic, Fripp Island is the perfect oceanfront resort for families, singles, or couples. Our home has everything you could need for your vacation. Just bring your beach towels and sunscreen and come ready for a great time. Cleaning is included in the weekly rental rate and our experienced property manager is nearby in case something needs attention during your stay. Up to eight Fripp Island Club cards are available for a small fee, giving you access to all island facilities.

The condo was very clean and had up to date kitchen appliances. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect! We plan on going back next summer.

Our extended family just loves this place. It is open, airy, and bright. We particularly enjoy being able to get everyone around the table for family meals. Away from the major Fripp Island beach accesses, we have always found crowds to be virtually non existent. The scenic walk through the dunes to the beach gives the kids a chance to pick wild flowers and view sand crabs. If you go to Fripp for family time, this is a great place to experience it!

...because its such a good deal! Nice house in a great location, personable owners who truly care about their guests. We plan on coming back. Pictures gave an honest view of the property, clean and well maintained. Well appointed kitchen met our needs, as did everything else. Handled our 7 without trouble. Unless you play tennis or golf, wouldn't bother with more than 1 amenity card, and that only to get a golf cart; a great way to get around the island. Hunting Island lighthouse is worth seeing. Day trip to Savannah was fun. If you have military ID, check out the crashed WW2 airplane on the nature trail behind the Parris Island golf course, also the Spanish fort and town site there also. This property was a big part of a great vacation! See you next year!

A great spot on fripp. Walk over the dunes is a bit farther then we expected but our 9, 7, 5 year olds made it without too much problem, and having a full beach even at high tide is worth it. The house was clean and large with great views. Would definitely recommend and return to whispering sands.

This is the third year of us renting this property which just about says it all. We love the location, layout, views, and comfort of this spacious home. When we have company the double master bedroom setup is perfect for guests. The owners are very gracious and respond to any and all questions in short order. Just can't say enough good things about this property.

The weather was beautiful. High 70’s to mid 80’s. We toured Savannah and Charleston by trolley, buggy ride and boat. Toured Boone Plantation, too. Had a wonderful time watching the deer in our back yard. The house was cozy. Highly recommend this home. Everything worked!

The weather was sunshine and 86 to 93 highs, 70 to 75 lo’s. Sunday we walked the beach; Tuesday spent the day surf fishing and caught 13 Redfish (5-10 lbs). Sunday evening we watched shrimp trawlers all night & the next day. The fresh shrimp is awesome! The home Is incredible – felt like home! Thanks for everything.
