Just got back from staying at this wonderful place. Previouse review said that hot tub wasn't private. I disagree. They have do have a neighbor but they  also takes care of the unit and give the renters plenty of privacy. The place is right in the center of town and you can walk to some of the best reasteraunts in town and the BEST bakery. The place has everything you need and is very clean. The carpet & paint were in great condition and the beds & linen were clean and comfy. We loved the foosball table and the new flat screen tv's. Being on top of a business was never a problem. I look forward to staying here again soon. I know you will love it as well. The owner was very easy to work with and he was easy to reach for any questions you may have. Enjoy your stay :)

We stayed here and while the condo itself is indeed nice, there are a few things you should know about this unit. It is above a liquor store and I thought it would work out since they're closed at night. The trouble started at about 6:30am every morning when they come in to work. Most mornings there was someone singing down there and the floors and walls are paper thin when it comes to noise. There was no chance of sleeping past 7am every day. The unit is also on the main drag for Mammoth Lakes and while it was quieter than I thought it should be, in the summer you have to open the windows for that fresh Mammoth air, but you're going to hear all that traffic, there's no getting away from that. The parking is a pothole-riddled gravel space on the side and back of the building. The potholes are usually filled with water. Dogs were ever-present and we got barked at and our bodies sniffed often. There is no privacy for the hot tub (which we were looking forward to partake in, but didn't) on the shared deck, and if others use it they are right outside your kitchen window that has no curtain. On a lesser note, the handrail for the stairs needs sanding badly and both of us got splinters when we forgot not to touch it. The bottom line is if you're a group of 4-6 people, and you're there in the winter (windows closed) to ski and you make as much or more noise than the neighboring units, you'll love this place. The interior remodel is first rate. You'll still hear the singing from the liquor store in the morning, but then you're probably there to ski anyway and need to get up and get going!

Great place to stay- centrally located with nearby restaurants and shopping. But- don't judge this book by it's cover! The interior is awesome with lots of space and amenities. We would definitely return to this property.

This place is fabulous. I'm not sure why I forgot to post this review last fall, but we loved staying here. As others have noted the surprise is the look of the outside and the location. We thought it was so funny to discover that the condo is above the liquor store! Fortunately, the store closes down about 10pm, so it never kept us awake. The private hot tub sits on the back deck with no privacy fence, so it's not as private as we would have expected, but otherwise, this place is fabulous! In fact we hope to go back again in a few weeks. This is the perfect way to end the summer!

We enjoyed our stay at this nicely remodeled apartment. My only surprise was that it is located on Main Street. I don't know how I missed that when I booked it. Calling it a condo made me immediately think it was part of a condo complex. However, it is an apartment above two businesses (liquor store/fishing shop) on Main Street. The location is convenient to coffee and pastries at Schatt's, stores, and gas stations. Just bring your earplugs if you are bothered by the noise of street traffic when it is time to go to sleep.

Other than worrying that we were in the wrong spot when we initially arrived, we absolutely loved our 4th of July holiday at this apartment. I will warn you that this unit is above a liquor store and tackle shop, and the exterior is not even close to being renovated, but once you go inside it's exactly like you see in the photos. It's very clean and roomy, and we would definitely come back again. The kids loved the Foosball table, and the location within town is great, we walked all over and rode bikes around town.

You really can't beat the convenience of this location, and the interior of the house was simply stunning. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was really fun to cook in, the living room/dining room set-up was great, everything was very clean, and did I mention the awesome location? We were all a bit scared when we pulled around to the back to park because the exterior of the place was not at all what we were expecting, but we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the front door. The only thing I would say is that the spa isn't really private, since the teenagers from the neighboring apartment were using it which was a little uncomfortable since it's right outside the kitchen and there aren't blinds on that window. All in all, I'd highly recommend this rental (and Slocums restaurant which is very close by).

This condo is one of our favorite places to stay in Mammoth. Convenient, clean, and well-priced. It's a great deal and we couldn't be happier each time we rent. Walking distance from food, shops, and the trolley stop makes this the perfect place. You do need to drive/shuttle to the lifts, but that's the case with most of the places in Mammoth unless you pay for slope-side condos. (Which, this owner also has a ski-in ski-out place at Canyon Lodge as well) We are season-pass holders, and have been for several years, and have stayed all over the map, including Mammoth Lodge, the Village, Snowcreek and various places in between. This is by far our favorite place and would recommend it to any type of visitor. It's the best place for the price and we haven't stayed anywhere else since!

The description of this condo was very accurate. This was a very nice place to stay, very convenient location, close to all. It was very clean and is well taken care of. I would defiantly recommend this condo to friends and family going up to mammoth. It was a great experience and great vacation.

I stayed here several nights in October and fell absolutely in love with the place. From the outside it doesn't look promising (rather invisible), but it's 100% lovely inside. Everything is first class; no detail is omitted; the place is REALLY spotless and squeaky clean. The condo is spacious and comfortable, especially the luxurious beds and upscale linens - good sleeping! Appliances are all Maytag premium in like-new condition. The front-loading full-size washer can be gentle even on silk and wool winter base layers. As the listing states the remodeled kitchen and bath are gorgeous, with thick slabs of flawless granite and gleaming fixtures under beautiful lighting. Along with a gas range/oven you'll find all kinds of pots, pans, cooking utensils, even some supplies for the chef. The dishwasher is quiet and effective. The rooms are airy and bright, with new windows facing all four directions to let in lots of sunshine. Wifi internet is fast - no issues at all. I found the location near the main street to be ideal - no stops or turns getting in or out of town, and it's a quick trip up the hill to the slopes and lakes. There was no traffic noise problem even on the weekend - could be different in high season. The gas furnace is a bit loud, but this is soon ignored. The deluxe Hot Spring spa (on the deck) has a sun-faded cover, but the tub itself is in great condition: very well maintained with clean water hot enough for use during snow (proven in October!). Have no worries about encountering problems and there's no one to call. In fact, the friendly caretakers next door really look after the place expertly, and can help if needed - a perfect arrangement! No wonder the condo is so pristine. And please do keep it that way if you visit, so the rest of us can return to enjoy this hidden gem at Mammoth!
