What to do while staying in Panama City Beach…

Visit Pier Park, this new shopping complex opened the beginning of 2008. This outdoor shopping and meeting place offers several different food choices from Italian food at Guglielmo's to German at Hofbrau Beer Garden. For outside dining Maragaritaville & Back Porch both offer seating overlooking the water. It you are looking to catch the latest flix you will find a 16 screen state of the art movie theatre here too. You will enjoy shopping at the multitude of specialty stores that line the streets of Pier Park. If you are looking for a game of volleyball you will find that here also!
My favorite thing to do at Pier Park is visit Solace Day Spay & Massage Envy for a little pampering.

Shipwreck Island has been a favorite for over 25 years in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Zoo World has over 250 exotic animals & a beautiful botanical garden. They offer shows year round. It is located a ½ mile east of Wal-Mart Super Center on Front Beach Road.

For unusual sights.. Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum is found at the intersection of Front Beach Road, Thomas Drive & Middle Beach Road.

For a day spent away from the 'city' visit Shell Island for a nature based excursion. Shell Island is a natural, undeveloped island that stretches approximately seven miles & bottle-nosed dolphins call this area home. The island offers excellent snorkeling, fishing and secluded beaches. Make sure to bring along snacks & drinks, as they are not available for purchase here. Shell Island is a great place to find a vacation treasure.

The Frank Brown Sports Complex is located in Panama City which offers a host of recreation opportunities such as tennis courts, soccer fields, aquatic center, softball, football, playground and a freshwater youth fishing pond.
