Deep River is a 580-acre ranch, of which 30 acres are devoted to grapefruit orchards. Out in the country and set apart from any city life, the ranch is located in the foothills of the beautiful Hemet Valley of Southern California.
A keynote of the ranch is the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the property, the spectacular San Jacinto mountains, the dramatic San Grogonio range, and, looking to the West, the majestic peak of Mount Baldy can all be seen from the patio of the Ranch House.
Sunsets and sunrises are truly awe-inspiring, from any point on the ranch. The water used on the ranch comes from natural springs located in the hills behind the Ranch House. Flora and fauna are abundant, including hoot owls, quails and hawks, rabbits and deer and the mischievous roadrunner.

Thanksgiving weekend at the grapefruit ranch was our best family vacation in years. Relaxing in old fashioned rural comfort with modern conveniences and priceless views. The pictures don't do it justice! The dogs loved the patio access and hikes in the wild. It was quiet and secluded but town was only a short drive away. Price was very reasonable, especially for five people. We recommend this rental highly, but not when we want to go again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
