  My family of eight stayed over a long Nov. weekend. It was a great stay. The set up is great with four single beds in two bedrooms on the lower level, one queen bed on the main level and another queen or double in the loft. Suited us just right. The lower level has a family room with Wii game and laundry. The hot tub worked out just fine. Marilyn was great to work with for reservations and Deb came to let us in and explain everything. The owners have furnished the place very nicely and we will come back again.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

  We were a group of 7 adults and 1 child. No problems with the sleeping arangements.. everyone was happy. Pics of this place were great. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Deb was great walking us through the place and the hot tub was the very best!!! My husband and I will definately be back, just for the peace and quiet! I do recommend this cabin. Close enough to everything without it being in your backyard. Very friendly people all around.

  We are two families, connected by two twin brothers. We had 4 adults and 6 kids, ages 2-12. We stayed here for a week in August, 2011. The house was great. The pictures don't do it justice, it has many updates. It was SUPER clean. The cabin is secluded, yet there is enough in the area to keep you busy. We also used the community pool many times, and it was clean and well kept. It is a short walk from the house. It was a great house for our needs.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We plan on coming back next year. It was very clean and well maintained. Beverly was great to work with. We enjoyed the pool nearby. We had 8 people stay in the cabin and had plenty of room and privacy. We loved the location. We rented a pontoon boat for the day at the Burnside Marina, whitewater rafted, rode horses, and rode the Big Southfork train. There were a lot of fun things to do. We highly recommend this property.

  The property was well maintained and comfortable. It has everything you need. The kitchen iw well stocked and the bathrooms are good size. Air works well. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends. The owner is easy to get ahold of and responds quickly to requests.

  The guys went hunting this year in the Daniel Boone National Forest and we rented a cabin through Beverly Stafford. This was the easiest vacation booking I have ever done. Beverly was great to work with and very hospitable. I felt as though I was talking to a friend. The cabin was great and worked perfectly for the guys. All the comforts of home. It sure kept them from having to worry about bringing linens and towels. Town was close by so running for groceries was not an inconvience and it also had everything in the world you might need. All I know is next time I will be with them. The location was amazing!

  What a wonderful time we had here. It actually looks just like the pictures shown here. Our agent was super helpful & provided us with what we needed. We visited in June & there was hardly anyone around us. Kind of quiet actually. Nice surroundings. We will be back !

  We spent the week of the Fourth of July, '09 here and had a wonderful time. Beverly was wonderful to work with - it was nice to work with a professional when renting a by-owner listing. The home is clean and cozy, yet we were able to accomodate seven people very easily. The hot tub was a nice amenity, as were the foosball table and videos. The swimming pool was within a convenient and short walking distance. We spent a great day on the Lake with a pontoon boat rental. It was just a short drive away. In summary, we had a wonderful family vacation with the kids, who ranged in age from 20 months to five years old. We would definitely come back!

  My wife and I along with our children and grandchildren spent a wonderful week-end together in this well-maintained and extremely clean cabin located in a beautiful mountain setting with all the modern conveniences of home. Beverly, the rental agent, was a pleasure to work with and was very accessible throughout the entire rental process. The cabin exceeded our expectations and the layout was perfect for our family with the game room, two bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, and hot tub located on the lower level and the master bedroom, guest bathroom, living room, and kitchen/dining area on the main level and a loft on the 3rd level which provided a 4th bedroom and bathroom. We enjoyed hiking at nearby Cumberland Falls State Park and also enjoyed a half day sightseeing on Lake Cumberland on a pontoon boat we rented from Burnside Marina. There was so much to do in the area we plan to come again.
