Being 2 short blocks away from beautiful Charley Young beach, for the price our condo is a diamond in the rough. READ ON!!!

Kalama Terrace is located in beautiful South Maui in the town of Kihei where rain is a rarity almost assuring you of a warm, sunny vacation. With only a 30 minute drive from Kahului airport,within a very short time of arriving on Maui you could be basking on the beach sunning, swimming and just enjoying the tropical setting of Maui. And since "our" beach faces the western horizon, enjoying some of the most memorable sunsets you will see anywhere.

Our condo is centrally located in Kihei where shops, restaurants, parks, and other interests are only moments away. Many of these within walking distance. It is 1 block off the main road, so it is close to the action, but far enough away if you decide you want some peace quiet for awhile.

We provide all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Included in our condo is a full kitchen with all utensils, Bathroom with tub/shower, Queen bed, full size sofa bed, All linens, A/C, 26" flat screen tv/cable/DVD player with a few DVD's, 19" tv in bdrm w/remote, AM/FM CD player with some hawaiian cd's, cordless phone with answering machine, (Local calls free. Use calling card or cell for long distance.) Hair dryer,curling iron, iron & ironing board, a Maui revealed book to help plan out places to go & see. In the complex is a swimming pool with a BBQ area and a laundry room just a few steps from our unit. ALSO INCLUDED in our unit is wireless high speed Internet or you can connect with an ethernet cord.

Our complex is only 2 blocks from Charley Young Beach, one of the nicest beaches on Maui for swimming, sunning or snorkeling. It connects to 2 other beaches in Kihei which makes for a great morning or evening stroll by the ocean. All 3 of these beaches have lifeguards on duty during the day. To make all of your beach trips more enjoyable, we have included in our condo beach chairs, umbrella's, beach bag, beach towels & mats, and a portable cooler.

Please note: Our condo is mainly set up for 2 adults with 1 queen bed. There is a full size sofa bed in the living room. Use your own judgement when reserving for more then 2 adults.

  • My husband and I spent 8 days (Aug 21 09-Aug 29 09) at Kalama Terrace. It was perfect! Close to the beach, clean, comfortable and afforable.   • This condo is exactly as pictured. It was the perfect fit for my boyfriend, son, and I to stay for 7 days. The owners kept in contact through out planning and were very quick to respond to my questions. I rate this an A+++ and hope to return someday. The pool is more amazing than the picture shows. Awesome tiled bottom with two turtles. The location was central to everything we needed in town, a park with play structure, and great beaches. My suggestions are Kimos in Lahina for dinner (Make reservations), the Royal Lahina Luau (arrive for check in really early for best seat), Trilogy for snorkel cruise, and UFO for parasailing. Alexander's had excellent Mahi Mahi fish tacos.

  • My husband, Jim, and I had the pleasure of staying in Kalama Terrace, p102 for the month of January. It was close to all shopping and dining. We walked almost everywhere. Even to the movies just a half a block past the local grocery store. We enjoyed dining at many of the local eateries. Kihei Cafe was the very best breakfast and great for people watching. Moose's and Freds were exceptional food and fun. The beaches were great and I can't believe how warm the water was. I took my binoculars and saw many whales and turtles right from the beach. We took a whale watching excursion and saw them up close, also many dolphins. An unforgetable experience. The best show on the Island was "Warren and Annebelle." You just HAVE to go see it. Also I would recommend Ulalani. I hope you all have the great experience we did. Jan
