This condo is about 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville, with abundant shopping and restaurants. We have been married 39 years and grew up in the area around Norris Lake. We always went to the lake for camping vacations when we were young so we know most of the great things the lake offers. We decided we were getting too old for sleeping on the ground in a tent and decided this was a much more comfortable way to "camp". Hot tub, swimming pool, nice comfortable queen size bed, etc.

We love the area, the lake and are very familiar with Norris Lake. We felt like it was a good value for the money.

Gorgeous view of the lake and marina from our unit. Sit on the covered patio and watch the water. Just enjoy the quiet at night with the shimmer of the moon on the water. Wonderful!

My wife and I had a two night stay that was fantastic. The surroundings are exceptional and the villa had all the comforts of home. We took quiet strolls and read out on the patio. Watched the sunrises and sunsets and fog burning off as the day warmed. We had the pool to ourselves both nights and the hot tub has a waterfall that serves as a perfect shoulder and back massage. The clubhouse and workout room was grand as well. This is a well thought out, gated community. Knoxville was close by for visiting friends. We would like to make Waterside a repeat vacation destination.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

The condo, the community and the views were great. It was nice having all the comforts of home (washer/dryer, dishwasher, pool, gym and a pool) for basically the same price other family members paid to stay in a hotel. If I could suggest anything it would be wireless internet in the unit, rather than just in the clubhouse. It makes for planning the week a lot easier when you're from out of state. The owner has yet to return our security deposit after 31 days when her contract says it'll be mailed within 10 days from departure. Make sure that you keep that in mind....

My husband and I celebrated our 21st anniversary at this wonderful condo. The condo was beautiful and at a perfect location for access to the marina. The pictures and description of the condo were accurate and everything was well-maintained. We rented a pontoon from the marina and they were very helpful and nice as were the owners of the condo. We will definitely return to Waterside as we fell in love with the lake and the area.

My husband and I stayed at this condo from May 31 - June 5, 2010. It is a beautiful spot at Waterside Marina, and very convenient to Knoxville. The listing pictures are very accurate, as the unit is nicely decorated and furnished. It was in great condition, and very clean. We have good friends who own a condo at Waterside, just 2 patios away from us, and it was great to spend time with them while having our own private place to retreat at the end of the day. The facilities are very nice, too (pool, spa, fitness center, club house). My only suggestion to take into consideration is the fact that the unit can only be accessed by going down, or up, several stairs. If you have mobility problems, or have a great deal of items (groceries, luggage, etc.) to carry, it might not be the best fit. But, I would definitely stay there again (and pack lighter!). Love the area and beautiful Norris Lake. If you don't have a boat, the marina rents pontoons, but call ahead early as there are only 2 available!

We stayed at this beautiful condo for a weekend and we will definitely come back! The owners are wonderful and have decorated the place beautifully! There is a gorgeous view of the Marina from the bedroom, living room, and patio! Not to mention a gourmet kitchen! Perfect "home away from home" that we will surely visit again.
