This Home is located directly on the Weeki Wachee River, which is a pristine Spring Fed River with gin clear waters. The water temperature stays at 74 degrees year round, you will likely see Manatees, hawks, Herons. Otters and other wildlife not to mention the Snook which swim by the property. You can kayak or canoe and boat the river out to the Gulf of Mexico. You are located minutes from a public beach at Pine Island, and 10 minutes from the Weeki Wachee Theme park which has the famous Mermaid show, and water park. Located within 1.5 hours from Disney/Orlando and 1 hour from the City of Tampa and Clearwater Beaches.
There is inshore and offshore fishing, and one of the best areas to catch Tarpon, Grouper, Redfish. Trout and more, and don't forget Scallop Season which starts July 1, they are everywhere, last season was great!
This is a 1500 sq foot stilt home, freshly painted, with three bedrooms and two full baths, the master bedroom has a large garden tub. Relax on the back porch and watch the boats pass by on the river. Restaurants and shopping and Golf courses are close by. Pets welcome,ONLY ONE DOG UNDER 15 POUNDS ALLOWED but sorry NO CATS.

Beautiful nature setting on Weeki Wachee river to relax and enjoy watching manatee, dolphin,otter,blue heron, osprey and other birds. I hope that everybody who rent this house in the future will enjpy it as much as we did in 2009. A three bedroom, two bath comfortabilty furnished, with deck overlooking the river. The host very accommodating to any of our needs. We have requested this house for vacation in 2010
