This comfortable, Non-Smoking home is situated in a small, quiet neighborhood tucked between the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The home is a short walk to two beautiful, uncrowded public beaches, and also within walking distance from several parks and casual restaurants.
The home has a large living room, a large master bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bedroom with a twin bed and a second twin trundle. The decor is light and airy. The home also has a screened porch overlooking the backyard. In addition to a television and CD/DVD player, the home has an assortment of beach toys in the 1.5 car garage.
The home is located in the community known as South Beach, on South Hutchinson Island in the City of Fort Pierce. South Beach is "Florida like it used to be" with its casual atmosphere and laid-back charm. Don’t be fooled, though - the area offers excellent boating and world-class fishing, and is home to several significant institutions, including the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute and the Smithsonian Institute Marine Ecosystems Exhibit.
The island boasts numerous beach and estuarine parks, historical features, and just over the bridge to the mainland is historic downtown Fort Pierce, with its many scheduled events, restaurants, and shops. West Palm Beach, and opulent Palm Beach, are just over an hour south, and Orlando/Disney are about one and a half hours northwest.
