GRACIOUS AND SPACIOUS LIVING in a well-maintained home (2600 sq ft) on two levels: the lower level has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a laundry room.
The upper level is bright, with cathedral ceiling in a Great Room which gives access to a deck and screened-in dining porch with views of the wetlands and harbor. A middle level contains a den with sofa bed and computer with broadband cable and wireless router. The master bedroom has a queen bed (master bath has double sink and Jacuzzi), the other two bedrooms have 2 twins each; one of these has a sink and the singles can be converted to a king arrangement.
The kitchen is well-equipped, with 3 sets of dishes and 2 sets of silverware, etc. along with the usual small appliances. Cook a lobster dinner in the pot (the Lobster House seafood market is a short bike ride away). The eat-in kitchen provides an alternative to the larger dining table in the Great Room (or dine on the porch).
Beach chairs, adult and children's bikes, and beach toys are in the garage, and the enclosed outdoor shower out back is refreshing after a day at the beach. The Great Room has a stash of games, videos, and puzzles. The TV set in the Great Room has both DVD and VCR, and the master bedroom also has a TV and VCR.
Biking is a good way to get around town, and nothing in Cape May is very far. There are many, many restaurants in town of all price ranges, and Cape May is famous for its historic, Victorian architecture. Take a carriage ride or a trolley tour to get familiar with this seaside resort.
For those interested in birds, Cape May is famous for its bird watching (especially raptors), as the Atlantic Flyway funnels through the Cape May peninsula, and there are viewing platforms and nature trails by the lighthouse.
