The "Rock House", as it is known locally (because it WAS built from ROCKS), sits at the North end of Treasure Island at the entrance to John's Pass thus ensuring many hours of "boat watching".
It is an ideal vacation spot for families who want to vacation together, but not actually live together. It consists of THREE units: a lower apartment with two queen sized beds and a sleep-in porch on the waterfront; upstairs, there are two, one bedroom units complete with your own kitchen, bath, living room, dining room and queen sized bedroom overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Exterior steps provide access to the upper units.
There is a downstairs unit with one large bedroom with 2 queen beds in it. There are 2 couches in the living room, one couch and a futon on the sleeping porch. The upstairs units are 1 bedroom each (on the water) with full bath, LR, DR, kitchen. The upstairs units are separate and you access them by outdoor stairs (pictured).The gazebos, pergolas, picnic tables, swings are all part of this property (which is the only privately owned beach on Treasure Island). They are for the use of this unit and two other properties that we own in this compound.
The lower unit can accommodate 4 adults and 2-3 children.The upper units can accommodate 2-3 adults and 1-2 children.
The view, in itself, is the reason to come to this throwback of a Southern "Cracker" House!
