The "Rock House", as it is known locally because it WAS built from ROCKS, sits at the North end of Treasure Island at the entrance to John's Pass thus ensuring many hours of "boat and dolphin watching". It also has the most beautiful sunsets ever seen! It is perfect for the vacationer who wants seclusion and yet easy access to restaurants and "night life" entertainment.
For families who want to vacation together but not actually live together, the "Rock House" consists of THREE separate units which can be rented individually or collectively.
There is a downstairs unit with one large bedroom with 2 queen beds in it. There are 2 couches in the living room and a futon on the sleeping porch. The upstairs units are 1 bedroom each (on the water) with full bath, LR, DR, kitchen which can be accessed by outdoor stairs.
The gazebos, pergolas and picnic tables are all part of this property, which is the only privately owned beach on Treasure Island, with the Gulf 200 yards away. They are shared with this unit and two other properties that we own in this compound.
The lower unit can accommodate 4 adults and 2-3 children. The upper units can accommodate 2-3 adults and 1-2 children.
The view, in itself, is the reason to come to this throwback of a Southern "Cracker" House!
