This 3000 sq ft, 3 BR/3 BA home sits 150 yards from Poipu Beach at the epicenter of Poipu Beach activity. No need to hop in the car to enjoy Kauai at it’s best. Walk to the beach to get a tan, swim, snorkel, surf, boogie board or just relax with a book. Poipu Beach Park also features a playground and protected beach area for the keikis. Poipu restaurants, hotels, shopping, golf and tennis are also within a few minutes walk or short drive.
Hale Pua features three separate suites, the Breakers, Hibiscus & Seaside, each with it’s own bath, entertainment center and private lanai with separate entries – perfect for couples traveling together or the family that wants some space. Breakers Suite is located on the upper floor with king size bed, air conditioning, and walk-in closet. The two guest suites (Hibiscus & Seaside) are downstairs with one king suite and one queen size bed suite with air conditioning. The full kitchen upstairs features a wine bar and all the amenities needed for creating masterful meals or dazzling tropical drinks. Hibiscus Suite has a full kitchen and our oceanview Seaside Suite has a kitchentte.
A large patio with pergola provides for outdoor dining and BBQ at its best. A hot tub sits on the downstairs lanai (Hibiscus Suite) for those in need of a break from the beach. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, laundry with supplies, outdoor shower, gas BBQ’s, coolers, beach mats and chairs, and Pack n’ Play for the tots. Our Guest say it best!

The best fish & chips I've ever eaten with a great view! Casual dining.
Wonderful Italian Restaurant, some of the best food on island. Piano bar on Saturday night, make a reservation.

My husband & I (Ed Sindt & Kathy Bates), bought this wonderful beach property in 1978 with thoughts of retirement close to one of the best beaches in the world!
A minute walk to Poipu Beach Park & Brennecke's Boogey Boarding Beach!
We built a home in 1988 and moved to Kauai, heaven on earth. Built a second home on property and rented it out! Alas Hurricane Iniki destroyed both houses. We relocated to California to work. Rebuilt one home and made it a vacation rental.
At last in 2002, we returned to Kauai and decided to start managing the vacation rental home ourselves. We built the second home and then found that we wanted to live upcountry and have dogs again! We added Hale Pua to the rental market.
We are very happy living on Kauai in the south shore and managing our rentals. We love meeting our guests and hearing of their adventures on island and elsewhere!
