I have had a couple of visits to this wonderful house. The sauna, hot tub and pool are all great. Especially the sauna in the winter and the pool in the summer. I love seeing the farm animals across the street. The house is comfortable and close to the river, yet out of the noise and bustle of town. Armstrong Woods is a short drive away. The house and yard are a wonderful mixture of country and class Donnalee Sharkey
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

In general I think this is a good property with lots of amenities and good value for the money.The house is comfortable and roomy. However there were a couple of things that detracted from our rental experience. The most significant was the position of this property directly beside a very busy 2 lane highway--the sound of passing cars was noisy and constant and it would be very dangerous to try and walk anywhere on this road--unfortunately no fix for this problem. The other issues were a terrible sulpphur smell from the water and a kitchen floor that badly needed to be replaced. All that being said we did enjoy the house especially the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. The location only a few miles from Armstrong Woods was also a big plus.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We just left the house this morning after a delightful stay. We had two families in the house for a quick summer getaway. The kids LOVED the pool, as Donna (The property manager) said they would. They could have stayed at the house all three days just playing in the pool. The grownups loved the hot tub and sauna. We did make an easy side trip to Safari West (recommended), just because. As we were leaving, the kids were already asking when we were coming back. Thanks to Donna for all the help.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children.

I spent a super relaxing week at Russian River Paradise. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Has a new sauna room and the view to the Korbel vineyards is amazing. I would love to go back again!
