Stay at one of the most comfortable homes in Julian, only 2 miles from downtown Julian in lovely Kentwood in the Pines. Professionally decorated furniture and accessories. Situated one a secluded half acre of Manzanita and Oak trees with shaded walking paths, picnic tables and BBQ. The clean, smog free air and mountain views transmit a feeling of peace and tranquility.

Entered from either set of French doors is the wrap around deck where you can relax, take in the views, or enjoy your meals. Beautiful sunsets can be watched from many rooms. Our 30' rustic exposed wood beam ceiling and wood burning pot belly stove give you the mountain cabin feel with the amenities and elegance of a beautiful home. Central heating and air conditioning add to your comfort.

The gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, travertine and granite floors, stainless steel appliances and a full compliment of cooking and utensils should meet the needs of the most sophisticated chef.

Enjoy watching our new 42 inch TV in our cozy living room tastefully decorated as you can see on our pictures. In addition to receiving 200 channels on the TV, we offer a book library, CD/VCR/DVD player. Have dinner in our formal dining room that seats up to 10 people in comfort. Note the beautiful chandelier above the table.

Walk up the unique wood staircase to the large loft with a desk to connect your lap top to the internet and two twin beds and dresser. The impressive Master Bedroom with an Eastern King size bed with massive leather head board, private bathroom with granite counters, double vanity, mirrored closet with deluxe bedding will provide extreme comfort. The Master bedroom also has a magnificent mountain view through oversized windows.

The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed with oversized leather headboard, and mirrored closets. The beds are very comfortable and should provide you with a restful night. The entire upstairs has beautiful hardwood floors.

You drive up to the house on a new, wide, curved cement driveway. The two car garage is spacious with a separate laundry room with new washer/dryer for your convenience. Additional parking is available in the front of the house. Enjoy your stay.

Your children are very welcome but must be supervised by you at all times while outside, since it is a non-fenced natural setting. Your family dog is also welcome as long as it weighs less than 35 pounds, is house broken, on flee prevention, and always kept on leash outside for its own protection. A $250 extra security deposit is required. Bags are available to clean up after your pet.

Due to extreme fire conditions smoking is not permitted either in the house or outside on the property.

There are many things to do in Julian in addition to eating their world famous apple pies. Nearby is a gold mine tour, fishing and boating at nearby lake Cuyamaca, horse back riding, wolf preserve, wineries offering wine tasting. Reserve time for a day trip to the Wild Animal Park, Anza Borrego desert or the Salton Sea.

You will find everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable vacation in Julian.

  • We visited this charming Julian home for a "friends scrapbooking week-end." The accomodations are both elegant and cozy, and the kitchen and living room areas particularly inviting. The beds are luxuriously comfortable. We had a restful and rejuvenating time!

  • We had a birthday party here recently for my girlfriend and our friends and it is a very nice place. The pictures really don't do it justice. Very nicely decorated and quite cozy. Only 2 miles from Julian. It is not on a big plot of land but still feels private. I cooked all weekend and the kitchen is well-stocked for chefs. The owner was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this place!
